Ontology-based information alignment method in mobile Agent communication

Abstract:In an open multi-agent of dynamic network environment, it frequently happens in mobile processing that mobile agent needs to conduct multi-communications with various ontologies. An Ontology Alignment Model in Agent Communication (OAMAC) was proposed. It takes account of two important criteria in communication, the communication efficiency and the communication time. This model is characterized by two features; first, it fully takes into account the factors that affect the communication, and represents the use of ontology in agent's knowledge base; second, under the situation of a lot of communication toward one knowledge field, it can improve the reliability of the communication, reduce both of the network flow rate and the communication time.
