Abstract:The regulations require that when installing UHV porcelain insulators, the insulation resistance should be measured with an insulation resistance meter no less than 5000V, and the resistance value of the insulator should be no less than 500M $\Omega$ under dry conditions. Traditional insulator zero detection methods include insulation resistance meter, simple pulse device, spark fork method and voltage distribution method. Due to the above methods, the test voltage is too low, the device is bulky, the operation is complicated, or the accuracy is greatly affected by the external environment, resulting in unsatisfactory application effects. For this reason, this article mainly studies a portable insulator zero value test device, and meets the following technical requirements: output voltage above 60kV, deviation less than 5% test range 0 $\sim$ 5000M $\Omega$, resolution: 1M $\Omega$, error no more than 10 % weight no more than 3kg; The number of continuous use of a single charge of the power supply is not less than 5000 times. The device is small and portable, with high accuracy, which is able to detect the insulators one by one without dismantling the wooden crates.
