Model for composing semantic Web service workflows

Abstract:With the continuous increase in available web services, there is a growing demand to compose web service workflows, thus to perform complex business processes. This paper proposes a model for constructing semantic web service workflows, in which the OWL-S/UDDI Matchmaker is applied. Procedures of the construction of semantic web service workflows are presented. Using the semantic descriptions of web services this model is capable to search and match web services automatically, and to realize the automatic construction of web service workflows.
