Study on Velocity for Heterogeneous Flow in Horizontal Pipe

Abstract:In this paper,on the basis of forefathers’ research and theory,relations among velocity of water,that of solid particles and that of settling slurry have been established by the momentum transmission.Through analysis of the geometry relation of salutations particles and suspension particles in the horizontal pipe,deep research is carried out on the relation of the proportion of salutations particles and suspension particles and mean velocity of flow in the horizontal pipe.The important coefficient K4 and velocity for heterogeneous flow VB are established,which agrees with the experimental data well.
