Soil Structure Analysis for Substation of Wang-Chu Segment Within Qinghai-Tibet Railway

Abstract:To estimate the grounding grids' grounding resistance in substations of Wang-Chu segment within Qinghai-Tibet Railway. It is important to confirm the substations' soil structure parameters in those zones. According to the soil structure of established substation, the genetic algorithm (GA) is applied to the π'(a) function of the soil structure parameters for substations of Wang-Chu segment and the optimum parameters results are calculated. Contrasts to reconnaissance on the spot, the calculated results are available.
