Abstract:In the title compound, C(8)H(5)NOS(2), the non-H atoms are approximately coplanar [maxium deviation = 0.060 (3) Å]. The dihedral angle between the least-squares planes of the pyridine and 1,3-dithiol-2-one rings is 5.96 (17)°. The crystal packing is stabilized by weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and by an S⋯S close contact [3.510 (5) Å].

Abstract:In the title compound, C(14)H(19)N(3)S, the cyclo-hexane ring has a chair conformation. The almost planar amino-thio-urea unit (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0062 Å) is aligned at a dihedral angle of 45.23 (8)° with respect to the benzene ring. Inter-molecular N-H⋯N and N-H⋯S hydrogen bonding stabilizes the crystal structure.

Abstract:In the crystal structure of the title compound, C15H15N5O2S, the triazole ring forms a π56 configuration in which the N between the two C atoms is sp2 hybridized. A strong S⋯S(−x, −y, −z) interaction exists between adjacent molecules producing a zigzag line along the c axis with an S⋯S distance of 3.123 (3) A, and a three-dimensional network is formed through C—H⋯N and C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.

Abstract:The title compound, C11H10N4S.H2O, displays an intramoleculear N-amido...N-pyridyl hydrogen bond [2.652 (2) Angstrom] that locks the thiourea unit and one pyridyl ring into coplanarity [dihedral angle 2.7 (1)degrees]. The second pyridyl ring is also coplanar with the thiourea unit [dihedral angle 2.9 (1)degrees]. Its attached N atom interacts with the lattice water molecule to form a helical hydrogen-bonded chain that runs parallel to the b axis of the orthorhombic unit cell; adjacent chains are linked into a layer-like architecture by another hydrogen bond between the water molecule and the double-bonded S atom.

Abstract:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C20H16ClN3S, contains two independent molecules, A and B. In molecule A, the dihedral angles between the central benzene ring and the pendant chlorobenzene and phenyl rings are 6.37 (15) and 64.79 (15)°, respectively. The corresponding values in molecule B are 28.21 (14) and 82.11 (16)°, respectively. Each molecule features an intramolecular N—H⋯N hydrogen bond, which generates an S(5) ring. In the crystal, molecules A and B form dimers, being linked by two N—H⋯S hydrogen bonds with graph-set notation R22(8).

Abstract:In the molecule of the title compound, C19H15N5, the dihedral angles formed by the plane of the triazole ring with those of the 2-pyridyl, 4-pyridyl and p-tolyl rings are 28.12 (10), 34.62 (10) and 71.43 (9)degrees, respectively. Abstract:The title compound, ethyl-5-amino-1-phenyl-4-pyrazolyl)carbonyl]-3-methylsulfanyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylate (5) (C18H19N5O3S) has been synthesized by the treatment of 4 with ethyl-2-cyano-3,3-dimethylthioacrylate in refluxed ethanol. The crystals of triclinic space group P1, with cell dimensions of a=11,482(9), b=12.460(9), c=15.024(11)angstrom, alpha=71.392(12), beta=89.557(12), gamma=64.988(11)degrees, M-r=385.44, V=1826(2)angstrom(3), mu=0.207 mm(-1), D-c=1.402 g cm(-3) and Z=4. The two pyrazole rings are almost coplanar, which is mainly due to the intramolecular interaction, while these two rings form angles with the benzene ring. The molecules are linked by N-H center dot center dot center dot O intermolecular hydrogen bonds into two-dimensional framework, and the packing is further stabilized by C-H center dot center dot center dot pi and pi center dot center dot center dot pi interactions.

Abstract:The title thio-urea derivative, C17H19N3OS, adopts a U-shaped conformation with the dihedral angle between the terminal aromatic rings being 73.64 (5)°. The major twist in the mol-ecule occurs about the ethane bond with the Ci-Ce-Ce-Cb torsion angle being -78.12 (18)°; i = imine, e = ethane and b = benzene. The configuration about the imine bond is E, the N-bound H atoms lie on opposite sides of the mol-ecule and an intra-molecular amine-N-H⋯N(imine) hydrogen bond is evident. In the mol-ecular packing, hydroxyl-O-H⋯S(thione) and amine-N-H⋯O hydrogen bonding feature within a linear, supra-molecular chain. The chains are connected into a layer in the ab plane by a combination of methyl-ene-C-H⋯S(thione), methyl-ene-C-H⋯O(hydrox-yl), methyl-C-H⋯π(phen-yl) and phenyl-C-H⋯π(hy-droxy-benzene) inter-actions. The layers stack without directional inter-actions between them. The analysis of the calculated Hirshfeld surface highlights the presence of weak methyl-C-H⋯O(hydrox-yl) and H⋯H inter-actions in the inter-layer region. Computational chemistry indicates that dispersion energy is the major contributor to the overall stabilization of the mol-ecular packing.
