Abstract:Casting industry with important function on the development of national economy and strengthen of the national defence, is the main part of manufacturing industry. Foundry technology is the important aspect of advanced manufacturing technique. It is the developmental trend of manufacturing technique of casting figuration to be lightweight, accurate, Digitization, networked and greenized, and foundry technology is developing at higher quality, lower costs, short procedure, fewer consume, lower energy consumption and pollution-free. Founding of super huge castings is also important field of the development of foundry technology. Now, information technology is promoting over all level of casting technique roundly, among them computer simulation emulation, which is targeted on multi-subject, multi-measurement, high-specification, high-precision and high-efficiency, has been used in casting field . In future, the technology on casting tend to be on the direction of network and green.
