A virtual manufacturing system for the press production line of car body

Abstract:The characteristics of the pressing production of car body were analyzed, and the key techniques of constructing VMS for the press production line of car body were presented and researched. Such a VMS is constituted by the entity model, the logical model and the simulation control platform. Plug-in models can be added to expand the function of the system. At last, the functions of such a system were introduced, and an example of dynamic scheduling was given, which showed that this system can preview the production accurately and gain an appropriate schedule scheme.
