Studies on Chemical Constituents of Sini Tang

Abstract:OBJECTIVE:To study the chemical constituents of sini tang.METHOD:The constituents were separated by means of column chromatography and their structures were identified by spectral data and compared with literature data.RESULT:Six compounds were isolated and identified as vanillic acid, formononetin, isoliquiritigenin, liquiritigenin, kumatakenin B and uracil.CONCLUSION:All of the compounds were isolated from sini tang for the first time and the study on their activities in Chinese prescription is being carried out.
