Abstract:Frames play an important role in wavelet analysis. G-fra mes are generalized frames which include ordinary frames, a nd many other recent generalization of frames. In this paper, we give several theorems to construct a large number of new G-frames from existing G-frames.

Abstract:In this paper, we present some new characterizations of g-frames for a bounded operator. We discuss the g-frame for an operator K which has closed range and give a necessary and sufficient conditions for a family of bounded operators to be a K -g-frame. We also give a characterization of the dual for a K -g-frame. Moreover, We use quotient operators to characterize K -g-frames and find that the results on K -g-frames can be proved by theory of quotient operators.

Abstract:In this paper, we give some new characterizations of g-frames, g-Bessel sequences and g-Riesz bases from their topological properties. By using the Gram matrix associated with the g-Bessel sequence, we present a sufficient and necessary condition under which the sequence is a g-Bessel sequence (or g-Riesz basis). Finally, we consider the excess of a g-frame and obtain some new results.

Abstract:Due to the frame elements of the g-frames being operators, it has many differences from traditional frames. Hence some new characterizations of exact phase-retrievable g-frames from the perspective of operator theory are mainly discussed in this paper. Firstly, we find that for an exact phase-retrievable g-frame, its canonical dual frame will maintain the exact phase-retrievability. Then the stability of the exact phase-retrievability is discussed. More specifically, an exact phase-retrievable g-frame is still exact phase-retrievable after a small disturbance can be obtained in this paper. In addition, we show that the direct sum of two g-frames which have the exact PR-redundancy property also have the exact PR-redundancy property. With the help of these results, the existence of the exact phase-retrievable g-frames is discussed. We prove that for the real Hilbert space case, an exact phase-retrievable g-frame of length N exists for every

Abstract:In this work, we analyze Gabor frames for the Weyl--Heisenberg group and wavelet frames for the extended affine group. Firstly, we give necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of nonstationary frames of translates. Using these conditions, we give the existence of Gabor frames from the Weyl--Heisenberg group and wavelet frames for the extended affine group. We present a representation of functions in the closure of the linear span of a Gabor frame sequence in terms of the Fourier transform of window functions. We show that the canonical dual of frames of translates has the same structure. An approximation of inverse of the frame operator of nonstationary frames of translates is presented. It is shown that a nonstationary frame of translates is a Riesz basis if it is linearly independent and satisfies approximation of the inverse frame operator. Finally, we give equivalent conditions for a nonstationary sequence of translates to be linearly independent.

Abstract:Bi-g-frame, was introduced as a pair of operator sequences, could obtain a new reconstruction formula for elements in Hilbert spaces. In this paper we aim at studying the characterizations and constructions of bi-g-frames. For a bi-g-frame , the relationship between the sequence and the sequence is very crucial, we are devoted to characterizing bi-g-frames, whose component the sequences are g-Bessel sequences, g-frames and so on. Then we discuss the construction of new bi-g-frames, we show that bi-g-frames can be constructed by specific operators, dual g-frames and g-dual frames. Especially, we also study those bi-g-frames for which one of the constituent sequences is a g-orthonormal basis.

Abstract:In this paper, we introduce complex pseudo splines that are derived from pseudo splines of type I. First, we show that the shifts of every complex pseudo spline are linearly independent. Therefore we can construct a biorthogonal wavelet system. Next, we investigate the Riesz basis property of the corresponding wavelet system generated by complex pseudo splines. The regularity of the complex pseudo splines will be analyzed. Furthermore, by using complex pseudo splines, we will construct symmetric or antisymmetric complex tight framelets with desired approximation order.

Abstract:Weaving frames are powerful tools in wireless sensor networks and pre-processing signals. In this paper, we introduce the concept of weaving for g-frames in Hilbert spaces. We first give some properties of weaving g-frames and present two necessary conditions in terms of frame bounds for weaving g-frames. Then we study the properties of weakly woven g-frames and give a sufficient condition for weaving g-frames. It is shown that weakly woven is equivalent to woven. Two sufficient conditions for weaving g-Riesz bases are given. And a weaving equivalent of an unconditional g-basis for weaving g-Riesz bases is considered. Finally, we present Paley–Wiener-type perturbation results for weaving g-frames.

Abstract:Recently, Bemrose et al. \cite{BE} developed a theory of weaving frames, which was motivated by a problem regarding distributed signal processing. In this present article, we introduce the atomic $g$-system and we generalize some of the known results in continuous $L$-frames, weaving continuous and weaving continuous $ g$-frames, also we study weaving continuous $ L$-$g$-frames in Hilbert spaces.

Abstract:In this paper, we give some new results on sum and stability of g-frames in Hilbert spaces. Since the finite sum of g-frames may not be a g-frame for the Hilbert space, we give a necessary and sufficient condition and some sufficient conditions for the finite sum of g-frames to be a g-frame. We also show that every g-sequence in Hilbert space can be expanded to a tight g-frame by adding a linear bounded operator. Moreover, we obtain some sufficient conditions under which g-frames (and the finite sum of g-frames) are stable under small perturbations.

Abstract:Weaving frames have potential applications in wireless sensor networks that require distributed processing of signals under different frames. In this paper, we study some new properties of weaving generalized frames (or g-frames) and weaving generalized orthonormal bases (or g-orthonormal bases). It is shown that a g-frame and its dual g-frame are woven. The inter-relation of optimal g-frame bounds and optimal universal g-frame bounds is studied. Further, we present a characterization of weaving g-frames. Illustrations are given to show the difference in properties of weaving generalized Riesz bases and weaving Riesz bases.

Abstract:A continuous g-frame is a generalization of g-frames and continuous frames, but they behave much differently from g-frames due to the underlying characteristic of measure spaces. Now, continuous g-frames have been extensively studied, while continuous g-sequences such as continuous g-frame sequence, g-Riesz sequences, and continuous g-orthonormal systems have not. This paper addresses continuous g-sequences. It is a continuation of Zhang and Li, in Numer. Func. Anal. Opt., 40 (2019), 1268-1290, where they dealt with g-sequences. In terms of synthesis and Gram operator methods, we in this paper characterize continuous g-Bessel, g-frame, and g-Riesz sequences, respectively, and obtain the Pythagorean theorem for continuous g-orthonormal systems. It is worth that our results are similar to the case of g-ones, but their proofs are nontrivial. It is because the definition of continuous g-sequences is different from that of g-sequences due to it involving general measure space.

Abstract:In the past decade, significant progress has been made to generalize classical tools from Fourier analysis to analyze and process signals defined on networks. In this paper, we propose a new framework for constructing Gabor-type frames for signals on graphs. Our approach uses general and flexible families of linear operators acting as translations. Compared to previous work in the literature, our methods yield the sharp bounds for the associated frames, in a broad setting that generalizes several existing constructions. We also examine how Gabor-type frames behave for signals defined on Cayley graphs by exploiting the representation theory of the underlying group. We explore how natural classes of translations can be constructed for Cayley graphs, and how the choice of an eigenbasis can significantly impact the properties of the resulting translation operators and frames on the graph.

Abstract:Frame plays an important role in the theory of wavelet analysis. Frame theory and stability of frames are important topics of wavelet analysis. Recently, people pay more attention to multi-wavelet frames. Among literatures, Chui[2], for instance, give a complete characterization of multi-wavelet frames for arbitrary dilation factor a > 1. There, however, is relatively less results on the stability of multi-wavelet frames. This paper devotes to the study of stability of multi-wavelet frames based on functional analysis methods. The following meaningful results are obtained: firstly, multi-wavelet frames are stable by some kinds of linear operators action; Secondly, multi-wavelet frames are stable over some kinds of perturbations conditions on psi.

Abstract:this paper, we give some characteristics of g frames for finite dimensional version which are counterpart the frame theory. Moreover, we investigate their dual g-frames that are optimal for erasures. For a given g-frame, we will give some conditions under which the canonical dual is the unique optimal dual g-frame for the erasure problem. We also discuss some special conditions under which the canonical dual g-frame is either not optimal or it is optimal dual but not unique one.

Abstract:In this paper, we define the concept of soft $g$-frame in soft Hilbert spaces by extending the concept of soft from frame to $g$-frame. We then show some properties of the soft $g$-frames in soft Hilbert spaces. Among other results, we show that the $g$-frame operator is associated with a soft, finite, self-adjoining, reversible, and finite inverse $g$-frame and get the dual g-frames. In addition, we prove that every element in Hilbert's soft space satisfies the theorem of $g$-frame decomposition.

Abstract:Aimed at dual wavelet frames possessing some properties of bi-orthogonal wavelet bases, the relation of multiple Gabor frames to multiple dual wavelet frames is investigated by means of Fourier analysis and time-frequency analysis.A new method for conversion of a pair of multiple dual Gabor frames to multiple dual wavelet frames is presented.Existence conditions for multiple tight wave packet frames are obtained with bilinear functionals and locally integrable functions.

Abstract:The frame set conjecture for Hermite functions formulated in [Gröchenig, J. Fourier Anal. Appl., 20(4):865-895, 2014] states that the Gabor frame set for these generators is the largest possible, that is, the time-frequency shifts of the Hermite functions associated with sampling rates $\alpha$ and modulation rates $\beta$ that avoid all known obstructions lead to Gabor frames for $L^{2}(\mathbb{R})$. By results in [Seip and Wallstén, J. Reine Angew. Math., 429:107-113, 1992] and [Lemvig, Monatsh. Math., 182(4):899-912, 2017], it is known that the conjecture is true for the Gaussian, the $0$th order Hermite functions, and false for Hermite functions of order $2,3,6,7,10,11,\dots$, respectively. In this paper we disprove the remaining cases except for the $1$st order Hermite function.

Group-Frames for Banach Spaces

Abstract:In the literature, frames generated by unitary representations of groups (known as group-frames) are studied only for Hilbert spaces. We make first study of frames for Banach spaces generated by isometric invertible representations of discrete groups on Banach spaces. These frames are characterized using left regular, right regular, Gram-matrices and group-matrices on classical sequence spaces. A sufficiently large collection of functional-vector pairs using the double commutant of the representation is identified which generate group-frames for Banach spaces. Subsequently, we study Schauder frames generated by time-frequency shift operators on finite dimensional Banach spaces. We derive Moyal formula, fundamental identity of Gabor analysis, Wexler-Raz criterion and Ron-Shen duality in functional form.

Abstract:This paper explores the concept of $K$-$g$-frames in locally $C^*$-algebras, which are shown to be more general than $g$-frames. The authors first introduce the notion of a $g$-orthonormal basis and utilize it to define the $g$-operator, a crucial element for studying the construction of $K$-$g$-frames in locally $C^*$-algebras. The paper establishes a relationship between $g$-frames and $K$-$g$-frames and introduces the $K$-dual $g$-frame along with its properties. Finally, the authors characterize $K$-$g$-frames through two other related concepts.
