Abstract:By incorporating hypothesis test into intelligent optimization algorithms, it can not only assure the exploration and exploitation of the search space, but also avoid repeated search to enhance efficiency by taking advantage of the statistical information obtained during evaluation process. Hypothesis test based SA and GA algorithms are reviewed and compared through simulation results on classic stochastic scheduling problems.
