Abstract:In order to make software more reusable and extensible, the thought of plug-in is proposed and explained, and the method of reusable software design is produced based on this thought, including architecture, function and interfaces, etc, which explained the feasibility and realization of the plug-in. Then, the realization by giving a real project is elaborated. Finally, the conclusion is drawn that this plug-in method has very good theoretic value and usability.

Abstract:Based on many achievements and experiences in artificial intelligence and software engineering about program design automation, a new special-domain and stepwise intelligent development method is proposed in this paper. Referencing to the lifecycle method and the prototype method, the intelligent developments of detail design, outline design and requirement analysis are discussed in detail successively. Then the relations among those three intelligent development steps are explained clearly. Finally, the characteristics and the advantages of this method are analyzed in depth, which shows that it is a feasible development way for intelligent information system.

Abstract:Previous research methods have focused on reuse of application software about embedded software development among smart distribution terminals. However, few investigations have been able to study the reconfigurable method of this software prospectively and in well-layered settings. Moreover, no studies have determined whether the embedded hardware development in the era of power Internet of things that influences the performance improvement of the software platform. The purpose of this paper was to explore the reconfigurable method of architecture level for embedded software development that can be realized only through four steps: start-data operation-control operation-end, and describes the design steps and the application of available high-performance techniques which greatly improves the efficiency of software development. By constructing the three-level reconfigurable software design method of ‘function element-component-system architecture’, this paper realizes the reconfigurable method of smart distribution terminal software development. We further confirmed the feasibility of this method by large-scale application of intelligent distribution terminal to low-voltage distribution station area.

Abstract:Traditional CAD system is difficult to solve the problems of product diversification because of individual customer requirements. Combining with the inherent rules of product design, similarity science was introduced in the course of reusable design. A reusable design method based on knowledge evolution was advanced based on the idea of similarity analysis. The calculation method of semantic knowledge similarity indices, such as similarity, gratification and reusability, was described. The reusable design flow and evolutionary operator of product design were combined so that the evolution process of semantic unit could reflect the design intention. The new method was applied successfully in the development of numerical controlled machine tool. The engineering product and its design process were expressed effectively, which helps to enhance the design efficiency and quality.

Abstract:Knowledge reuse is one of the key issues of most intelligent design methods. The aim of our research is to study the mechanism of reusing design information, including product design information and process planning information, and reusable design rule, and then explore methods, strategies and tools for reusable design based on knowledge integration and reuse. The concept of Reusable Design (RD) is put forward to summarize and further various intelligent design methodologies. Then the essential methods for reusable design are stated through comparison between two different strategies to deal with design issues. Formatted description of reusable design process is one of the key factors to conduct the reusable design process. So it is also an important part of our current research. Finally, we discuss knowledge reusability and its measurement considering product function, reuse quality, reuse granularity and reuse cost. Finally, the basic principles of reusable design are drawn.

Abstract:With the swift and violent development of hardware, software has become more and more complex. How to rapidly develop maintainable, extensible and adaptable software that meets the changeable requirements is becoming a pressing problem. As everyone knows, component\|based development offers a better means to solve the problem. The critical point of that way is the design of reusable component. Much effort has been made to design component and to optimize component structure, without sound results. To obtain well structured components and component library, a method for reusable component design is presented in this paper, which is better than the existing method. At the beginning, several existing design methods of reusable component are discussed and evaluated briefly. A component model is defined and the common designing steps are given, and then the new method including some algorithms is introduced in detail, which combines quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis. With that method, one can identify and optimize the inheritance and aggregation structures of class components quickly. And the automatically supporting tools can be constructed easily. After that, some problems existing in the construction and evolution of component library are discussed. Several cases in practice are also presented briefly.

Abstract:How to meet the diverse requirements while keeping the low cost for product development and high efficiency is the main problem of designing reuse in mass customization. Based on the idea of "decreasing the internal diversity, increasing the external diversity" of mass customization, a "multi-view, multi-layer, multi-granularity" design reuse model was proposed. Both the practical and economical requirements of the product were encountered. Design reuse strategy for mass customization was studied and a combined strategy of product family, component modularization, part standardization, feature generalization was given. On one hand, the strategy ensured the economy of design reuse; on the other hand, the diverse requirements of customs were encountered commendably. Finally, the application instance was given; the software system was developed and applied.

Abstract:To improve the productivity of HMI development, this paper proposes an intelligent development method for human-machine interface of CNC according to software reuse theory, of which the core technology consists of configurable intelligent development framework for HMI and functional component library. For the development framework, it includes customized interface editing environment, middle-layer model and automatic code generation engine. As to the design of functional component library, component object model (COM) is used to create various components which can be classified into graphic primitive components, CNC system function components, interpreter components and so on. By use of the component interface, development framework communicates with the above mentioned component and is responsible for the assembly and integration of components through which the complex HMI system is automatically generated. Based on the intelligent method, developers can realize the automatic development of human-machine interface, which will ensure product quality and improve the development efficiency.

Abstract:Design, in general, may be classified as variant design, adaptive design and original design. It is estimated that 80% of all designs are adaptive or variant, and this means that a majority of the design process is based on reuse of knowledge from previous designs. Computer-based design reuse may shorten design cycle, improve design quality, and thus realize quick response to the market. Design reuse seems to become a hot research topic in computer aided design domain. On the basis of research into the existing design reuse systems, some important issues in design reuse such as reuse concept, reuse process model, reuse levels, key reuse techniques and modeling for design history supporting reuse are identified and generalized in this paper. Furthermore, all kinds of issues are studied deeply and systematically, the related definitions of concepts are proposed and the related models established. All of these provide a consistent theoretical framework for computer-based design reuse research.

Abstract:This paper discussed a method of knowledge representations to automatically reuse software information, such as, algorithms, designs, documents, reports etc. in the domain of IC-CAD. An architecture of framework ICSDE was presented which consists of four main parts: packaging unit, prototyping unit, reusable library and data base management. Within this framework, time domain knowledge of reusable-software-information (RSI) was represented and abstracted into three concept levels. Based on this representation method, the RSI can be packaged into reusable-software-component in the reusable library, and the function was provided to help IC-CAD software tools or system developers producing their products with low time and low cost. So it is possible to provide the IC-CAD products good reliability and maintainability under this framework.
Modular Design Method for Control of Reconfigurable Machine Tools

Abstract:A design method for constructing a hierarchical structure controller with control modules was proposed for synchronously reconfiguring the control and machine of reconfigurable machine tool(RMT). In this method,the entire controller and its individual control module at every level acted as a set consisting of a finite state machine (FSM) with input output event set pairs. Each pair of input output event set was defined as a port of the control module, and the input event set on a given port formed the port-acceptable language. Thus, when the mechanical modules are assembled, the control modules can be connected using port language, which constructs the higher control module until the entire controller is connected. Thereby, the control and machine reconfiguration of RMTs occurs synchronously. Based on the introduction of FSM expression for discrete event systems, the definitions of control module with FSM, module combination, as well as the design and construction theory of modular controller was given. Using this theory, once the control modules are properly designed and connected, the resulting controller is guaranteed to be controllable.

Abstract:Process patterns reuse is an effective way to improve the software process.Since each software project is unique,it is not possible to define a detailed and general process model for all software projects.In the paper,a hierarchy process pattern dynamical reuse method was proposed.Ontology based pattern description and event based process model were applied to facilitate reuse.It also discussed process composition method and an automatic process pattern reuse method according to the software product structure.The system structure that can support this concept was also introduced.

Abstract:To realize design reuse in mass customization,a design reuse architecture of supporting platform was proposed.Design process based on this platform was studied.The platform included five layers:basic data layer,data rationalization layer,middle layer,design supporting layer and retrieval layer.Basic data layer and rationalization layer were used to construct reusable design information.Retrieval layer and design supporting layer were used to support reuse process.And reusable design information was stored in the middle layer.Key technologies were discussed,including matrix-exchanging-based part association analysis technology,tabular layouts of article characteristics-based Computer Aided Design(CAD) and Product Data Management(PDM) integration technology,tabular layouts of article characteristics-based assembly-component-part-feature four levels design units modeling technology,design rule representation and rule-base reasoning technology,et al.Finally,the proposed theory and technologies were realized in the prototype software system,and the system was applied in an auto parts company.

Abstract:In order to reduce the design period and the develop ment cost of control system, this paper discusses a new method which can accomplish the whole design process rapidly by a powerful tool of MathWorks. It introduces the basic function of MATLAB/Simulink/RTW, explains the design procedure in details. It also takes a weapon control system as an example, by means of xPC target simulation system, and illustrates some key points of this method in the practice working process.
