Abstract:Design Resource Management (DRM) aims to improve the reusability of design resource. By studying the reusable mechanism of design resource, Multi-layer-view Reusable Model (MLVRM) of design resource has been presented. This model integrates structure information and advanced feature information, result information and process information. As such, the repository of design resource has been established as an effective method of managing and organizing MLVRM, which enables designers to retrieve and view the reusable design resource, and provides an operable data platform for reusable design and configuration design.
