Abstract:Three genera with eyes setose of Braconinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), i.e. Chelonogastra Ashmead, Ectemnoplax Enderlein and Pycnobracon Cameron, are reported in China with five species recognized, one of them is new species: Ectemnoplax xizanginensis, sp. nov. The new species is described and illustrated in detail. Pycnobracon is reported from China for the first time. The type specimens are deposited in the Parasitic Hymenoptera Collection, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China (ZJUH).

Abstract:The genus Deuterixys Mason, 1981 of the tribe Cotesiini (Hymenopteran, Braconidae, Microgastrinae) is recorded from China for the first time. Two new species, Deuterixys bifossalis Zeng & Chen, sp. n. and Deuterixys curticalcar Zeng & Chen, sp. n., are described and illustrated, and a key to the Old World species of Deuterixys is given. In addition, Wilkinsonellus paramplus Long & van Achterberg, 2003 is recorded from China for the first time and illustrated.

Abstract:The genus Taphaeus Wesmael, 1835 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Helconinae) is reported for the first time from China. A new species of this genus, Taphaeus pseudohiator Yan, van Achterberg et Chen, sp. n., is described and illustrated. Abstract:A new species of the genus Cryptoxilos Viereck, 1911 is described from China. This is the first record of the genus from the East Palaearctic region. The new species is included in a key to the described species of the genus. The subgeneric name Cryptoxiloides Capek & Capecki, 1979 is used to accommodate the Palaearctic species in the genus Cryptoxilos Viereck.

Abstract:The species of the genera Aspidobracon van Achterberg, 1984 and Philomacroploea Cameron, 1905 in China are revised. Five species are recognized, and two new species, Aspidobracon flavithorax sp. nov. and Aspidobracon longyanensis sp. nov, are described and illustrated. The genus Philomacroploea Cameron and the species Aspidobracon hesperivorus van Achterberg and Philomacroploea basimacula Cameron are reported from China for the first time. A key to the species of the genus Aspidobracon van Achterberg is provided.

Abstract:The species of Coeloides Wesmael of the tribe Coeloidini ( Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Braconinae) are revised in China, and eleven species are recognized. Among them, four new species: C. glaboventris Wang et Chen, sp. nov., C. longquanus Wang et Chen, sp. nov., C. flavus Wang et Chen, sp. nov. and C. changbaiensis Wang et Chen, sp. nov., are described and illustrated in detail. Some of the known species of this genus and one new species, C. flavus Wang et Chen described in this paper are parasitoids of larvae of various species of Scolytidae, Curculionidae and Buprestidae ( Coleoptera), many of which are notorious pests in coniferous and broadleaved trees. The type and other voucher specimens are deposited in the Parasitic Hymenoptera Collection, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, and Chinese Academy of Forestry, Beijing, China.

Abstract:The species of six genera (Atanycolus Foerster, Craspedolcus Enderlein, Ectemnoplax Enderlein, Shelfordia Cameron, Stenobracon Szepligeti and Vipio Latreille) of the subfamily Braconinae (Hymenoptera, Braconidae) from China are revised and 29 species are recognized, including 11 new species (Atanycolus carinatus sp. nov., A. longiquus sp. nov., A. maculipennis sp. nov., A. setosus sp. nov., Craspedolcus maculithorax sp. nov., C. nigrabdominalis sp. nov., Ectemnoplax bimaculosus sp. nov., Shelfordia fulva sp. nov., S. obscuripennis sp. nov., Stenobracon (Stenobracon) longatus sp. nov. and Vipio abnormis sp. nov.), which are described and illustrated. Ectemnoplax xizanginensis Wang, Chen et He, 2006, is proposed as a syn. nov. of E. peruliventris Enderlein, 1920. Two species, Shelfordia longicaudata van Achterberg, 1993, and Vipio mongolicus Telenga, 1936, are reported from China for the first time. Keys to the Chinese species of the genera Atanycolus, Craspedolcus, Ectemnoplax, Shelfordia, Stenobracon and vipio are provided.

Campyloneurus kirbyi (Cameron, 1905) is reported from China for the first time. Abstract:Background Alysiinae Leach is a species-rich subfamily in Braconidae, of which several species play an important role in biological control. The monotypic genus Eurymeros tumespiraculum Bhat, 1980 was discovered in Tibet and Yunnan provinces for the first time, representing the first record of the genus Eurymeros Bhat, 1980 (Braconidae, Alysiinae) in China.New information The rare genus Eurymeros Bhat, 1980 (Braconidae, Alysiinae) and its only known species, E. tumespiraculum Bhat, 1980, are newly recorded from China. The morphological variation of the Chinese specimens is described and illustrated.
