Abstract:Based on the analysis of the procedure of process planning, the concept of task is introduced and incorporated into the traditional theory of process planning management. The definition of tasks and relative rights/roles, the creation and distribution of tasks, and the algorithm of automatic distribution of task items are discussed in detail. At last, a task-driven distributed CAPP management system is developed.
