Abstract:Enterprise modeling is the foundation of CIMS and BPR implementation. In this paper, the issues of knowledge management for enterprise modeling and the corresponding solutions are interpreted. The knowledge management functions of a web-based enterprise model repository system are introduced at first, with the emphasis on the knowledge abstraction process from initial established project models to reusable reference models, as well as a fuzzy data mining algorithm for enhancing effective reference model classification and retrieval. Then a collaborative modeling framework based on model knowledge management in the Internet environment is proposed to guide industrial applications.
