Abstract:The environmental investment is an important guarantee for materializing the basic national policy of environmental protection and implementing the sustainable development strategy. Though Chinese government has attached great importance to environmental protection with continued efforts in increasing environmental investment, there are still some fundamental issues to be addressed with regard to environmental investment. Based on the concept identification of environmental investment, input, and expenditure, this paper has made comparative analysis on the concept of environmental investment in China and in other countries and systematically analyzed the statistical scope, indicators, and method of environmental investment currently exercised in China. Analysis results show that China’s statistical system for environmental protection investment is far from well-established, lacking standardized data management of environmental protection investment; without clear definition of environmental protection investment and unified statistical scope; weak scientific basis of statistical methodology with duplicated calculation or time inconsistency. To improve the statistical system of China’s environmental protection investment and get a real picture of environmental protection investment,the paper suggested recommendations in aspects of adjusting the statistical scope of environmental investment, developing statistical methodology with strong scientific basis, and improving the statistical system of environmental investment.

Abstract:With the rapid development of internet economy,the information communications are more convenient and transaction costs continue to drop.Based on the evolution of high technology,the internet industry irons and cuts off the spread of information flow.The new industries and forms derived from it, based on intersection and infiltration of knowledge,help China to better climb the global innovation value chains and promote the quality of China economy.In its process of the vigorous development,human cap-ital and institutional factors play important roles.For the soft environment,high quality human capital and environmental benign institutional system contributing to development of the internet economy and promo-ting platform strategy,industry of the commons and the formation and optimization of industrial forest. This paper will analyze regional differences,influential factors and determinants of the development of the internet economy.By quantitative analysis based on elasticity of human capital and the development of in-stitution,we will elaborate the endogenous driven power of the development of the Internet economy and explore the focus and policy suggestions.

Abstract:In recent years,studies on the impact of internet on civil society in China become a heated field.We review present studies and point out their weaknesses here in a critical and reflective way.First,thanks to NGOs' contribution in 2008 Wenchuan great earthquake,many scholars overestimate the development of civil society in China;second,under western centrism and technological determinism,they simply interpret the internet as a platform for social forces to challenge the state;third,as to the issue of web public sphere,thinness of theoretical resources,inadequate inquiries of group polarization,and simplistic understanding of rationality in online discussion are major drawbacks.At last,to further the research,we propose some approaches:multiply theoretical foundations,shift research perspectives,explore new research methods and select proper methodology consciously and reflectively.

Abstract:This paper explores the impact of widespread Internet use on the product choices of exporters. Based on a highly disaggregated firm-product-level data matched from the Annual Survey of Industrial Firms and China Customs Transaction Database, our baseline empirical analysis suggests that (1) Internet use (i.e., having an official website or corporate email) affects both extensive margin and quality margin of exported products; (2) exporters using Internet propone to expand their product line of export by introducing new products (cost-reduction effect on extensive margin); (3) the average quality of exported products becomes lower after the Internet is adopted by exporters (competition effect on quality margin). Our heterogeneous analysis further shows that (1) exporters with high productivity are immune to the negative impact of Internet use on quality margin and maintain quality growth; (2) having an official website exerts larger impacts on both extensive margin and quality margin compared with only having a corporate email system. Our research sheds light on the existing literature on Internet use and firm export behaviors.
The Impacts of Internet Knowledge on College Students' Intention to Continue to Use the Internet.

Abstract:Introduction. Examines the effect of Internet knowledge on college students' intention to continue using the Internet.Method. Students at four public institutions in Wuhan, China, were surveyed. They completed a questionnaire during the class hours.Analysis. Psychometric analysis was performed to assess the internal consistency, convergent and discriminant validity of the Internet knowledge construct. Path analysis was carried out with the structural equation program package EQS 6.1, to test the hypothesised causal paths among the constructs and the goodness of fit of the research model.Results. Internet knowledge is shown to be a reliable and valid construct, distinguished from Internet experience and Internet self-efficacy beliefs and has a significant effect on intention to continue to use the Internet.Conclusions. This study supplements the technology acceptance model with social learning theory and disentangles the relationships among Internet knowledge, experience and self-efficacy. The technology acceptance model is extended from a concern with adoption to continuous use of technology. The construct of Internet knowledge offers an opportunity to connect the technology acceptance model with knowledge gap and digital divide research, which are useful to inform future studies of technology acceptance.

Abstract:With the continuous development of Internet technology, the digital economy has become a new engine of contemporary economic development. In particular, on March 12, 2021, China released the "14th Five Year Plan" and the Outline of Vision Goals for 2035, clearly proposing to "create new advantages of the digital economy". Based on this background, this article first analyzes and evaluates the mainstream methods for measuring the development level of the digital economy in China and foreign countries. It is found that the current measurement methods and indicator selection vary greatly, and the accuracy and credibility of the measurement are questionable. Therefore, this article proposes to use Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method to measure the level of digital economy development in Chinese cities, and elaborates on its rationality.
Searching Information and Evaluation of Internet: A Chinese Academic User Survey

Abstract:This study examines the use of Internet resources and the evaluation of their usefulness from the perspectives of Chinese students and academics. The questionnaires were distributed at Peking University, ISTIC, and at the Information Institute of Science and Technology of Zhe Jiang Province, where 706 valid samples were collected. The data was analyzed according to: The background of the Internet users; the standard of Internet resources; Internet information-seeking behaviour; users’ evaluations of Internet resources and their perceived expectations about future Internet services. The study found that users with higher educational degrees tend to spend more time on the Internet and find Internet resources more useful than less-educated users. Although Internet search engines are the preferred information retrieval tool, other traditional or informal retrieval methods are also used. Many respondents agree that the Internet is helpful for narrowing the knowledge gap between developed and developing countries. Besides its richness and high speed, accuracy and authority are the most important factors when users judge the quality of the Internet; but, more specialized information filtering and navigation services are required. Further studies should focus on the information-seeking behaviour of different target groups, and with specific comparisons of Chinese academic users from economically developed areas, versus users from China's comparatively undeveloped Northwest provinces.

Abstract:To construct an index system for evaluating the supply of Internet+ public health services, and to provide a practical tool for assessing the supply of Internet+ public health services in an objective and scientific manner. The research team drafted the index system framework by combing the literature. The Delphi method was used to determine the content and weight of the index through two rounds of expert consultations. At the same time, the Cronbach coefficient and factor analysis were adopted to test the reliability and validity. What’s more, the analytic hierarchy process and the TOPSIS method were applied to analyze the empirical data of 15 counties and cities in the eastern, central, and western regions of China. The constructed indicator system includes 3 first-level indicators, 6 second-level indicators and 29 third-level indicators. Through reliability and validity tests, the stability and practicability of the index system are demonstrated in empirical research. The evaluation index system constructed in this article can be applied to the performance evaluation of Internet + public health service.

Abstract:Internet finance has experienced rapid growth in recent years in China, and it is expected to play an increasingly important role in the economy. This paper is one of the first attempts to examine the current state of development of Internet finance in China. The paper first introduces the methodology of the Peking University Internet Finance Index, which provides a monthly evaluation and analysis of the general trends and patterns of the Chinese Internet finance industry. The findings show that although the growth of the industry as a whole has been robust, the levels of development and rates of growth exhibit substantial variation across business categories. The paper then investigates the underlying determinants of the regional disparity in the development of Internet finance. The preliminary results suggest that the traditional financial sector, infrastructure, and local economic development are important for Internet finance development. The study suggests that the growth of Internet finance fundamentally relies on the development of the real economy and is associated with that of the traditional financial sector.

Based on a survey of college students in China, this reseach recognizes internet knowledge as a reliable and valid construct, distinguishes it from internet experience and self - efficacy beliefs, and demonstrates its significant effect on behavioral intention to use the internet by including it to Technology Acceptance Model. The research findings also provides an opportunity to connect TAM with the knowledge gap and digital divide research, which are useful to inform future studies of technology acceptance.
Optimization of an Indicator System for Measuring E-commerce Development: A Further Study at Firm Level.

Abstract:Although the topic of e-commerce mea surement belongs to one of research priorities in e-commerce , we lack a measurement framework for e-commerce benchmarking at firm level , especially studies on important indicators explained by the actual state of e-commerce in enterprises. In this study, an indicator system is developed based on key factors found in past studies and derived from related theories, and an empirical study is made to optimize the indicator system. First, a theoretical model is presented, including 8 hypotheses; second, e-mail survey, online survey and telephone interviews are conducted in firms of 16 industries, and 156 cross-sectional samples covering 11 cities and regions in Shaanxi province i n China are gathered ; third , statistic analys e s are made to test the theoretical hypotheses . Finally, the validity of the model i s examined in terms of the relationships to e-commerce development with the data, and an optimized indicator system is obtained, which is less computationally intensive and more practically prone to application in e-commerce measur ement and evaluation .

Abstract:This paper tracking the logistic framework of Drive-Response-Influence-State, brings forward an information resources measurement system which covering 9 indicators. Then it applies the statistics tool SPSS12.0 to carry out principal components analysis among 31 provinces and districts in Chinese mainland in the year from 2000 to 2005.The outcome of measurement shows that it is according with districts development actuality on the whole. Finally, it points out that people should take importance on exploitation and utility of information resources in future, so as to promote harmonious development among different regions.

Abstract:With the successful convening of the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) and the constraints of carbon neutrality targets, China faces an increasingly severe task of energy conservation, reducing emissions, and improving carbon emission efficiency (CEE). The development of the Internet economy provides a perfect opportunity for China to realize the coordinated development of the economy and low-carbon society. Based on China's provincial panel data from 2006 to 2017, this paper explores the relationship between the Internet economy and CEE by using the instrumental variable-generalized method of moments (IV-GMM) method. It also investigates the internal mechanism and heterogeneity analysis. The main results show that (1) the Internet economy positively affects CEE in China; in other words, a 1 % increase in Internet economy indicators will contribute to an increase of CEE indicators by 0.141 %; (2) the Internet economy indirectly affects CEE by increasing human capital, clean technological innovation, and the non-coal energy mix; and (3) there is a significant asymmetric relationship between the Internet economy and CEE, with the negative influence of the Internet economy on CEE being more significant in southern China. This paper also proposes some policy implications to help China achieve low-carbon social development.

Abstract:Information system represents important part of energy internet, and related information economics in energy internet environment is an important topic to systematically investigate. Given this background, a preliminary investigation on information economics in energy internet environment is carried out with attempt of establishing a research framework. First, existing energy internet definitions are summarized, and on this basis a prospect on infrastructure, function and operation condition of information system in energy internet is presented. Subsequently, some well-established theories and methods of information economics are briefly clarified. Finally, some issues to be investigated are addressed, including information value-addition and evaluation, information value-addition service mode, information based game analysis and mechanism design.

Abstract:As more and more communication, cooperation, sharing, searching and collecting information take place on the internet, internet-based big data are becoming a key source of information for scientific research. To better understand the dynamic landscape of scientific research using internet-based data in economic and management field, we perform a measure research using scientometrical analysis, social network analysis and burst detection based on corresponding articles data extracted from SSCI and SCI-E database. Results indicate that scientific output grows significantly; USA is the unchallenged leader in this field;China exhibits a rise in world share articles and it shows high scientific influence and across-countries/regions collaborative influence; Behavior, trust, mining, content, sentiment, attitude and forecast are hot topics in this field;content, big data, social commerce, sentiment analysis and behavior are frontier topics. This study provides guidance for future research in economic and management field.
