Abstract:OFDM has been a highlight technique in wireless communications. Synchronization is especially important in OFDM system. While not much research is done about sampling clock error estimation. In this paper, we analyze the influence due to this error and give the relation between this error and subcarriers numbers. Based on the previous work, an estimation algorithm using transform domain process (TE) is derived. This algorithm filters out the noise that severely damages the signals and improves the estimation precision. The simulation results showed that TE algorithm is effective especially in bad communication environment.
