Diagnosis for IBDV of Chickens

Abstract:The primers designed by PrimerDesign software in the overlapping area of VP5 and VP2 where the sequence is highly homologous are applicable to various strain of IBDV which are verified through scanning in the Internet and experiments. Four standard virus strains, one wild strain and one IBDV strain in the bursa of Fabriclus of diseased chickens are amplified successfully by the primers. Two other viruses which can result in other chicken diseases and one healthy chicken's bursa of Fabriclus show the negative results. The process of PCR is to operate and lower down the cost of the process. All of the above mentioned provide a new technology and diagnosis reagent for the earlier diagnosis and the prevention of IBDV.
