Abstract:The genus Neuronema belongs to the family Hemerobiidae, it was established by McLachalan in 1869 with the type species Hemerobius decisus Walker, 1869. Up to date, thirty-two species have been known in the world. They are distributed mainly in China, and some species distributed in the adjacent areas of the USSR to the north, to Japan in the east, and Indis and Nepal to the southwest. Among them, twenty-seven species were recorded from China. Two new species of the genus Neuronema, namely Neuronema striatum sp. nov. and Neuronema fanjingshanum sp. nov. are described in this paper. The type specimen are deposited in Insect Museum of China Agricultural University.1 Neuronema striata sp. nov.The wing of this new species is very similar with Sineuronema yadonganum Yang, 1981, but the genitalia is very different, it differs in: 1) the posterior of ectoproct with a long prominence and its ventral margin fold inwards; 2) mediuncus of gonarcus downward, and a pair of processes produced from neogonarcus curved upwards; 3) terminal lobes of parabaculum triangle and with a small tooth at base, dorsal lobes falcated and curved outwards at apex; 4) subgenitale round and without any incision at end. Length of body: ♂10.0mm; ♀ 9.0-11.0mm. Length of forewing: ♂12.0mm; ♀ 10.3-15.0mm.Width of forewing: ♂5.0mm; ♀ 5.0-7.0mm.
