Abstract:In this paper, we apply the modified variational iteration method to a generalized Hirota-Satsuma coupled Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation. The numerical solutions of the initial value problem of the generalized Hirota-Satsuma coupled KdV equation are provided. Numerical results are given to show the efficiency of the modified variational iteration method.

Abstract:In this paper, we make use of a new generalized ansatz in the homogeneous balance method, the well-known Riccati equation and the symbolic computation to study a generalized Hirota-Satsuma coupled KdV system and a coupled MKdV equation, respectively. Abstract:Abstract In this paper we present an extended tanh method that utilizes symbolic computations to obtain more travelling wave solutions for two generalized Hirota-Satsuma coupled KdV systems in a unified way. The key idea of this method is to take full advantage of a Riccati equation involving a parameter and use its solutions to replace the tanh-function by the tanh method. It is quite interesting that the numbers and types of the traveling wave solutions can be judged from the sign of the parameter. Abstract:Using expansions in terms of the Jacobi elliptic cosine function and third Jacobi elliptic function, some new periodic solutions to the generalized Hirota-Satsuma coupled KdV system are obtained with the help of the algorithm Mathematica. These periodic solutions are also reduced to the bell-shaped solitary wave solutions and kink-shape solitary solutions. As special cases, we obtain new periodic solution, bell-shaped and kink-shaped solitary solutions to the well-known Hirota-Satsuma equations.

Abstract:By using the bifurcation theory of dynamical systems to the generalized Hirota-Satsuma coupled KdV system, bifurcation parameter sets are shown. Numbers of solitary waves, kink waves and periodic waves are given. Abstract:Highlights • The extended generalized (G'/G)-expansion method is used to solve the system of equations for the first time. • Soliton solutions for the generalized Hitota Satsuma Coupled KdV system is explored. • Solitary waves, mults solitons and singular kink type solition is obtained for the system. • The hyperbolic, trigonometric and rational solution is obtained for the system. The generalized Hirota–Satsuma Coupled Kortwedge–de Varies (GHSC–KdV) system is considered for investigation to study the exact solutions by using the extended generalized G′/G -expansion technique. The GHSC–KdV system describes the interaction of two long waves with different dispersion relations. The dynamical structures of the obtained solutions are solitary-type waves, multi-soliton waves, and singular–kink type waves. It contains information about the hyperbolic, trigonometric, and rational function solutions for the above system. Furthermore, the derived solutions of the system that comprises arbitrary functional parameters and other constant parameters can be used to enhance the advanced behavior of physical situations. Abstract:In this paper, a new algebraic method with symbolic computation is presented to uniformly construct a series of exact solutions for general nonlinear equations. Compared with most existing tanh methods, the proposed method not only gives new and more general solutions, but also provides a guideline to classify the various types of the solutions according to the values of some parameters. For illustration, we apply the proposed method to solve a new generalized Hirota–Satsuma coupled system and explicitly construct a series of exact solutions which include the soliton solutions and elliptic doubly periodic solutions as special cases. In addition, the links among our proposed method, the tanh method and the extended method are also clarified generally.

Abstract:A new algebraic method for constructing multiple travelling wave solutions of nonlinear equations is applied to the Hirota-Satsuma coupled KdV equation. As a result, many new families of travelling wave solutions including soliton solutions, rational solutions, triangular periodic solutions, Jacobi and Weierstrass doubly periodic wave solutions are found. It is shown that the Jacobi elliptic periodic wave solutions exactly degenerate to the soliton solutions at a certain limit condition. The proposed method, which can be implemented in a computer with help of symbolic computation software like Mathematica or Maple, not only picks up new and more general solutions than the typical hyperbolic-function method, but also provides a guideline to classify the various types of the solutions according to some parameters. A large number of nonlinear equations may be studied and solved in this simple and systematic way.

Abstract:In this paper, we study a class of Hirota-Satsuma coupled KdV equations that can be used to describe the interaction of two classes of long waves. By using the Hiroda bilinear method, the 1, 2, 3-soliton solutions are obtained. On this basis, the asymptotic analysis of soliton solutions proves that the collisions between solitons are elastic, and a set of visual figure is given to illustrate the results.

Abstract:<p>A generalized Hirota-Satsuma coupled KdV equation, which can describe the interactions of two long waves with different dispersion relations, is studied in this paper. Using the Hirota direct method, its bilinear form is firstly obtained, and secondly its <span class="math"><math>N</math></span>-soliton solutions are found. Finally, the collisions between two solitons are proved to be elastic via performing the asymptotic analysis. Some graphs are given to illustrate that the two-soliton collisions do not change any physical quantities except small phase shifts.</p>

Abstract:The Ito equation belongs to the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) family and is commonly employed to predict how ships roll in regular seas. Additionally, it characterizes the interaction between two internal long waves. In the 1980s, Ito extended the bilinear KdV equation, resulting in the well-known (1+1)-dimensional and (2+1)-dimensional Ito equations. In this study finds numerous classes of exact solutions for a new structured (2 + 1)-dimensional Ito integro-differential equation using the help of the Mathematica software. The Improved Modified Extended Tanh Function Scheme (IMETFS) is utilised to address the aforementioned equation analytically. Bright, dark, and singular soliton solutions are produced. Additionally, periodic, exponential, rational, singular periodic, and Weierstrass elliptic doubly periodic results are achieved. The method employed includes the nonlinear evolution equations that arise in a variety of real-world situations, and it is efficient, applicable, and simple to handle. For certain obtained solutions, specific options of free constants are presented in 3D, 2D, and contour graphical depictions.

Abstract:This paper studies the (2+1)-dimensional Hirota-Satsuma-Ito equation. Based on an associated Hirota bilinear form, lump-type solution, two types of interaction solutions, and breather wave solution of the (2+1)-dimensional Hirota-Satsuma-Ito equation are obtained, which are all related to the seed solution of the equation. It is interesting that the rogue wave is aroused by the interaction between one-lump soliton and a pair of resonance stripe solitons, and the fusion and fission phenomena are also found in the interaction between lump solitons and one-stripe soliton. Furthermore, the breather wave solution are also obtained by reducing the two-soliton solutions. The trajectory and period of the one-order breather wave are analysed. The corresponding dynamical characteristics are demonstrated by the graphs.

The main idea of this method is to take full advantage of the solutions of the elliptic equation to construct exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations. More new exact travelling wave solutions are obtained for the generalized coupled Hirota–Satsuma KdV system.

Abstract:In this paper, we extend the Jacobi elliptic function rational expansion method by using a new generalized ansätz. With the help of symbolic computation, we construct more new explicit exact solutions of nonlinear evolution equations (NLEEs). We apply this method to a generalized Hirota–Satsuma coupled KdV equations and gain more general solutions. The general solutions not only contain the solutions by the existing Jacobi elliptic function expansion methods but also contain many new solutions. When the modulus of the Jacobi elliptic functions m→1 or 0, the corresponding solitary wave solutions and triangular functional (singly periodic) solutions are also obtained.
