Abstract:A new algorithm of Arnold inverse transformation is proposed for the fact that the period of Arnold transformation depends on the image size.The algorithm can get the coordinates of any pixel in the original image through analyzing the relation between two coordinates of the cor- responding pixel in the encrypted image.In this way,the anti-scramble can be realized.Moreover,the inverse transformation can be an image scramble transformation and its anti-scramble transformation is Arnold transformation.On this basis,the 2-dimensional algorithm of Arnold inverse transformation is generalized to m-dimension transformation.The experimental results show that the inverse transforma- tion can quickly decrypt the scrambled image without computing the period of Arnold transformation. The process is fixed and its iterative times equal the pretreatment scrambling times.

Abstract:Arnold transformation is applied widely in digital image encryption because of its periodicity. But if its periodicity is used in the course of image decryption, it will waste lots of time. So this paper offers a new anti- Arnold transformation algorithm. The algorithm gets anti-Arnold transformation by solving equation groups. The application of Arnold transformation from square image to rectangle image is generalized and its application on image encryption expanded. At the same time, the anti-Arnold transformation from 2-dimension to m-dimension is also generalized.

Abstract:This paper presents a novel digital image information hiding echeme which based on digital image scrambling and amalgamation. Firstly, this paper introduces how to realize digital image scrambling and amalgamation. Secondly, this paper presents a new kind of digital image information hiding schemes. In the scheme, scrambling technology is used as pre process and post process of digital image information hiding, and amalgamation is used to hide an image into the other one. At last, this paper discusses how to use the scheme into the research area of digital image sharing and digital image watermarking. Examples show that the scheme could be expediently realized and it is robust in a certain extent.

Abstract:Classical image scrambling transformation based on high-dimension matrix transformation,which is represented by high-dimension Arnold transformation or high-dimension Fibonacci-Q transformation,is capable of preferable security and can change the gray characteristic of the scrambled image,however,there exists some deficiency in practice,such as the long restorable period and not having the full diffuse ability to attacks.To address these problems,in this paper,based on high-dimension matrix transformation,an avalanche image scrambling transformation is constructed,which scrambles the original image by inverse transformation and recovers the scrambled image by obverse transformation in order to cut down the iterative times from the scrambled image to the recovered image.Simultaneously,theory and experiments show its strong fragility under attacks and can be used to construct fragile watermarking to ensure digital productions integrality certification.

Abstract:A digital image encryption algorithm based on the combination of Arnold transformation and RSA is presented in this paper. The Arnold transformation is used to scramble the pixels position in chained iteration. Then,the substitution and diffusion process of pixels gray value after the scrambling rely on RSA algorithm which is based on decomposition of great prime,so as to construct an algorithm combine both the position scrambling and the tray scrambling. The results of simulation show that this algorithm not only has a large key space,strong key sensitivity and decorrelation power,but also has many other advantages such as withstand statistical and known expressly attacks,it can achieve good image encryption effect.

Abstract:In the field of Internet, image is of great significance to information transmission. Meanwhile, how to ensure and improve its security has become the focus of research in the world today. We combine DNA codec with Quantum Arnold Transform (QArT) to propose a new double encryption algorithm for quantum color images. to improve the security and robustness of image encryption.Firstly, we utilize the biological characteristics of DNA codecs to perform encoding and decoding operations on pixel color information in quantum color images, and achieve pixel-level diffusion. Secondly, we use QArT to scramble the position information of quantum images and use the operated image as the key matrix for quantum XOR operations. All quantum operations in this paper are reversible, so the decryption operation of the ciphertext image can be realized by the reverse operation of the encryption process. We conduct simulation experiments on encryption and decryption using three color images of "Monkey", "Flower" and "House". The experimental results show that the peak value and correlation of the encrypted images on the histogram have good similarity, and the average NPCR of RGB three-channel is 99.61%, the average UACI is 33.41%, and the average information entropy is about 7.9992. In addition, the robustness of the proposed algorithm is verified by the simulation of noise interference in the actual scenario.

Abstract:Today, people all over the world want to exchange information, but they are concerned about security aspects while sharing information. The encryption and decryption are the one of the best methods to transfer the information securely. In this process, two types of algorithms are used symmetric and asymmetric algorithm. In the symmetric algorithm, we used the same key to encrypt and decrypt the information and in asymmetric algorithm used the pair of key to encrypt and decrypt the information, one is used for encryption, and another is used for decryption. Hence, asymmetric algorithms are more secured. In the asymmetric algorithm, the RSA is the one of the most popular algorithms. In this paper, present a hybrid technique of image encryption using the Arnold’s transformation and RSA algorithm. In this proposed methodology, first scrambles the digital image using Arnold’s transformation after that encrypts that digital image using an asymmetric RSA algorithm. The proposed method is safer, and the result of the resulting encrypted image is improved and safer as shown in this paper.

Abstract:Digital image scrambling is an effective tool in data hiding, digital watermarking, and digital image encryption. In order to evaluate the image scrambling performance effectively, a new normalized measure of image scrambling degree based on the grey level difference and the general information entropy of the scrambled image is proposed. This new method measures the image scrambling degree from both the local discreteness and the global uniformity by combining three aspects of an image: the discreteness, the uniformity of the discreteness, and the randomness in statistical distribution of the image, so it is more rational than any unilateral way. Experiments on the images scrambled by Arnold transformation, and the sub-affine transformation and a compound scrambling method based on chaotic maps show that the new measure has better consistency with the inspection result of human visual system than that of the existing measures.

Abstract:Image scrambling is an important technology in information hiding, where the Arnold transformation is widely used. Several researchers have proposed the application of Hénon map in square image scrambling, and certain improved technologies require scrambling many times to achieve a good effect without resisting chosen-plaintext attack although it can be directly applied to non-square images. This paper presents a non-square image scrambling algorithm, which can resist chosen-plaintext attack based on a chaotic two-dimensional Sine Logistic modulation map and Hénon map (2D-SLHM). Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has advantages in terms of key space, efficiency, scrambling degree, ability of anti-attack and robustness to noise interference.

Abstract:Engineering drawings are ubiquitously used for capturing, conveying and archiving innovative engineering designs. Many engineering companies' core intellectual property resides in their proprietary engineering drawings. Therefore, protection of such vital data is extremely important. This paper provides a swap-transformation matrix based approach to scramble engineering drawings in order to enable confidentiality. An engineering drawing involves the topological information and vertex information. The vertex information is more valuable than the topological information, since the vertices information primarily determines the content of engineering drawings. We argue that the vertex information is more valuable than the topological information, even if some topological information is lost, a drawing may be reconstructed from the vertex positions. We provide for three keys to ensure the security of the drawing. The technique can facilitate digital rights management of engineering drawings. The advantages of our technique are that scrambling is computationally less intensive than encryption and it allows for partial obfuscation.

Abstract:A new (to our knowledge) method is proposed in this paper for color image hiding and extracting using the phase retrieval algorithm in the fractional Fourier transform (FRFT) domain and Arnold transform (ART). Based on a cascaded phase iterative FRFT algorithm, the three channels (R, G, and B) of the secret color image permuted by ART are encrypted. Then the encoded information is embedded in the blue channel (B channel) of the enlarged color host image. Using the security enhanced encryption method, not only the random phase mask and the wavelength but also the transform parameters of ART and FRFT are provided as additional keys for decryption. It is shown that the security of information hiding will be enhanced. Computer simulations are performed to show the hiding capacity of the proposed system. Numerical results are presented to verify the validity and efficiency of the proposed method.

Abstract:A new image encryption algorithm based on multi-level and multilayer scramble is proposed in this paper.All the strategies,programs,parameters,encryption and decryption steps and other key technologies are given in detail.Based on the secure degree,the scrambling program divides into primary,intermediate and advanced levels,whose security gradually deepen with the level.The key parameters are encrypted by Elliptic Curve Cryptography(ECC).We verify and analyze the algorithm security,reliability and efficiency with an experiment.The experiment results and algorithm analyses indicate that the new algorithm possesses a large key space and high level security and the time needed for encrypting the interactive image tends to +∞.It provides a new access to satisfy high level security of interactive information requirements in the fields of aerospace,military,confidential,financial and economic,national security and so on.

Abstract:In this paper, we have proposed a new image encryption algorithm based on singular value decomposition and Arnold transform. An original image is first transformed in fractional domain by FRFT, and then decomposed into three segments by SVD. All these three parts are Arnold transformed different number of times to enhance the security. The three encoded images can be kept in several places or assigned to a group of authorized persons. But all the three parts should be provided in the decryption, and inverse Arnold transformed corresponding times, multiplied in correct order and inverse fractional Fourier transformed with right fractional orders, and finally the total correct information can be reconstructed. Otherwise, people cannot obtain the information easily. Some computer simulations are presented to verify the possibility.

Abstract:In this work, we propose a novel color image encryption scheme based on symmetric keys using the synergistic approach of Arnold transform, 3D logistic chaotic map with XOR operation, and affine hill cipher technique. All these methods work together and generate a strong cipher to abstain people from illegal access to data. The simulation results of the quality indicators and comparison with the existing algorithms ensure the security, performance, and effectiveness of our proposed scheme.

Abstract:This study presents a Hadamard transform based blind digital watermarking scheme whose extraction process doesn't require the original image. In this scheme, we use a binary image as the original watermark. During the embedding process, the original cover image is first partitioned into non-overlapped 8×8 blocks and the Arnold transform is performed on the original watermark to make the scheme more robust. Secondly, the Hadamard transform is applied to the blocks. Thirdly, one bit information is embedded in each block by modifying the relationship of two coefficients in the transformed matrix. Finally, the inverse Hadamard transform is performed on the modified coefficient matrix to obtain the watermarked image. The experimental results show that the proposed watermarking method performs well in both security and robustness against general image processing operations and various kinds of attacks, while keeping the invisibility very well. © 2010 Asian Network for Scientific Information.

Abstract:Image scrambling is a technique used for confidential storage and transmission as well as for image information hiding. In this study, we propose a multi-channel quantum image scrambling method, which applies both color and geometric transformations of an image. This is a simple and reliable method for transforming a meaningful quantum image into a meaningless or disordered one. We performed two simulation experiments, which demonstrated the efficiency and flexibility of the proposed method. Previous studies mainly developed scrambling strategies for grayscale quantum images, whereas the proposed method is effective for the color image scrambling in the quantum computing domain.
