Abstract:A variable temperature solid state high resolution nuclear magnetic resonance study was conducted on ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH). The phase structure of EVOH and its relation with the copolymer composition were also analyzed. The chemical shift of the methine and methylene carbons in the crystalline region was found to be 2 ppm higher than those in the amorphous region.
