Investigation on Soft Magnetic Alloys in Fe-Co-Ni System with High Saturation Magnetization and Low Remanence

Abstract:The soft magnetic alloy with high saturation magnetization and low remanence in Fe-Co-Ni alloy system is investigated. The experimental results show that when the alloy composition sites in the zone of bcc and fcc dual phase, and bcc phase is dominant and covers about 90 percent, the alloy exhibits good performance: the saturation magnetization of alloy can reach above 1.8 T, saturation magnetostriction is around zero and initial permeability keeps a high level. After the alloy is heat-treated under transverse magnetic field, the remanence can be down to 0.25 T.
