Design and Application of the Distribution Fault Assistant Analysis System

Abstract:According to the large qualities and analysis complexity of the distribution faults, this paper designs and implements a distribution fault assistant analysis system. This system is integrated with many data sources such as EMS, PMS and OMS, it fetches remote signal, remote measurement, protection signal, operation ticket, work ticket and other auxiliary data through the trip accidents, uses smart algorithms such as the breaker type automatic recognition and line fault anticipation based on timing information for preprocessing, and provides user-friendly operation interface. Meanwhile, using the concept and relevant technologies of the big data, the distribution faults are combined with inner and outer factors such as line overload, maintenance, lightning and weather for correlation analysis and mining. This system has been applicated in the fault analysis of Jiangsu 110 k V and below distribution network, which remarkably increased the efficiency and accuracy of the analysis, and effectively supported the decision-making of the distribution operation and maintenance.
