Abstract:A one - dimensional psuedo - homogenous model of outer - recycle reactor for sulfur - tolerant methanation is established in this paper. The effects of bed diameter, gas recirculating ratio, inlet temperature and pressure of gas and temperature range on reactor operation are investigated by simulation and analysis. The results show that gas recirculating ratio and temperature range are the determining factors of reactor operation. The optimization design of reactor producting 50,000Nm3/d gas is provided.
