Study of Permeability of Plastic Concrete of Cutoff Wall

Abstract:This paper presents the laboratory test results of permeability of plastic concrete sampled from cutoff wall of the tailing cofferdam of the Thirteen tombs Pumped Storage project, aiming at examining the permeability and construction quality of the plastic concrete. The samples were tested on permeameters developed for plastic concrete, under confining pressure and constanthead permeability pressure. The results indicate that plastic concrete is a rational material for seepage control, and the quality of the construction of the cutoff wall is good.
