Potential solid adsorption refrigeration pair - active carbon fiber-methanol

Abstract:Active carbon fiber might be a good substitute for active carbon adsorbent. The experiments show that the adsorption capacity of active carbon fiber on methanol is 2-3 times of that of active carbon on the same methanol, and the adsorption/desorption time of active carbon fiber is just about 1/10 of that of active carbon. Active carbon fiber-methanol is a potential solid adsorption refrigeration pair for the development of compact household adsorption refrigerator.
