Abstract:To study gastroenterolic local humoral immune resposes, we identified IgA to H. pylori in the gastric juice of 85 patients. The results showed: (circled digit one) both the content of IgA to H. pylori and the IgA positive rate (0.438, 96.5%) in gastric juice of patients with H. pylori positive were significantly higher than those with H. pylori negative (0.101, 7.1%) (P<0.001); (circled digit two) the content of IgA to H. pylori and positive rate (0.497, 91.7%) in gastric juice in patients with active gastritis were significatly higher than those with inactive gastritis (0.162, 33.3%) and with peptic ulcer (0.302, 86.75%) (P<0.05); the content and the positive rate of IgA in the patients with peptic ulcer and gastric cancer (0.502, 80.0%) were significantly higher than those with inactive gastritis (P<0.05); and the content and the positive rate of IgA in the patients with moderate and severe gastritis (0.395, 76.66%) were significatly higher than those with mild gastritis; (circled digit three) the content of IgA to H. pylori in gastric juice was positively correlated with the contents of IgA and IgG to H. pylori in the sera (r = 0.928, P<0.05; r=0.948, P<0.02). In conclusion : IgA to H. pylori in gastric juice is highly correponded with gastric loal humoral immune resposes, so it could be used for studying the pathogenicity and diagnosis of H. pylori infection.
