Abstract:The analytical sample preparation by supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) has recently been demonstrated to have many advantages as compared to traditional methods, such as high speed, high efficiency, low cost, low pollution and so on. The applications of SFE connected on-line or off-line to chromatography and other separation techniques in many fields of the analytical chemistry are reviewed in this paper. The interface, experimental technique, application and so on are introduced emphatically.
