Data management system of RMS700 monitoring and protecting system

Abstract:A computer aided data acquisition and management system developed on the basis of the Philips RMS700 monitoring and protecting system is introduced. The system has sampling functions of both high speed vibrating data and other thermal parameters. On-line monitoring and off-line analysis can be achieved. The system includes a fast changed signal box, a slow changed signal box, a double frequency phase-locked sampling card for high speed data, a sampling card for low speed data and a TMS320C25 fast FFT card. The whole system is managed by a highly reliable Intel IPC. The system has a hospitable interface and the menu is easy to use. It has been working successfully in Beijing Shijingshan power plant for nearly one year. With slight modification, the system will also be used to manage Bentley 7200 or 3300 instruments, or become an independent monitoring system. When added with fault diagnosis software, this system can be used as a fault diagnosis system.
