Abstract:By employing the continuous theorem from topology and the extended Ha-lanay's inequality, the existence and global exponential stability of periodic solutions for the Hopfield neural network with time-varying delayed are investigated. The algebraic sufficient conditions of periodicity and global exponential stability are presented. The conditions can be examined easily, so it is of practical usage. In additions, earlier results are extended and improved. A computation example is given to illustrate the proposed method.

Abstract:Both global exponential stability and periodic solutions of delay Hopfield neural networks are analysed via the method of constructing suitable Lyapunov functionals. Simple sufficient conditions are given for global exponential stability and the existence of periodic solutions. The conditions are presented in terms of the parameters of the connection matrix, and they are easy to check and apply in practice.

Abstract:In this Letter, we introduce a class of Hopfield neural networks with periodic impulses and finite distributed delays. We then derive a sufficient condition for the existence and global exponential stability of a unique periodic solution of the networks, which assumes neither the differentiability nor the monotonicity of the activation functions. Our condition extends and generalizes a known condition for the global exponential periodicity of continuous Hopfield neural networks with finite distributed delays.

Abstract:In this paper, the problems of the existence and stability of periodic solution of Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with multiple delays are investigated, and several new sufficient conditions are established to ensure the existence and the global stability of the periodic solution. For the networks with constant input, a unique equilibrium point exists and all other solutions of the network converge to it under the same conditions. Our results are less restrictive than previously known criteria and easy to check in the design. Two examples are given to demonstrate the validity of our results.

Abstract:The stability of neural networks is not only the most basic and important problem but also the foundation of some neural network's applications. In this paper, the stability of discrete delayed Hopfield neural networks is mainly investigated by constructing Lyapunov function and taking some inequality techniques into account. The sufficient conditions for discrete delayed Hopfield neural networks converging towards a limit cycle with 4-period are given. Also, some conditions for discrete delayed Hopfield neural networks neither having a stable state nor a limit cycle with 2-period are obtained. The obtained results here extend and improve some previously established results on the stability of discrete Hopfield neural network and the stability of discrete delayed Hopfield neural network in the literature.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate the problem of global and robust stability of a class of interval Hopfield neural networks that have time-varying delays. Some criteria for the global and robust stability of such networks are derived, by means of constructing suitable Lyapunov functionals for the networks. As a by-product, for the conventional Hopfield neural networks with time-varying delays, we also obtain some new criteria for their global and asymptotic stability.

Abstract:We discuss both the existence and the uniqueness of a periodic solution of second continuous delayed Hopfield neural networks in which all activation functions are nonsmooth. A sufficient criteria is found for both the existence and the uniqueness of ω-periodic solution of the class of the above networks when its each input function is a ω-periodic function. At same time, we obtain also a critera for each solution converges global exponentially to this ω-periodic solution. As a special case, similar results are obtained for the corresponding one-order Hopfield neural networks.

Abstract:The dynamics of Hopfield neural networks with continuously distributed delays is considered. By utilizing Lyapunov functional approach combing with inequality analysis technique, a new sufficient condition which guarantees global exponential stability of an equilibrium point is presented. Compared with the previous results, our result does not require that the activation functions of the neurons satisfy the Lipschitz condition which is usually used in the literature. Thus, our result is less conservative than some of the earlier references.

Abstract:Global exponential stability is considered for a class of discrete-time cellular neural networks with variable delays. By employing a discrete Halanay inequality, a new result is presented ensuring global exponential stability of the unique equilibrium point of the networks. The result extends and improves the earlier publications due to the fact that it removes some restrictions on the delay. An example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the global exponential stability condition provided here.

By constructing Lyapunov functionals and using inequality techniques, some new suffcient criteria are obtained to guarantee the existence and global exponential stability of periodic attractor. Our results improve and extend some existing ones in [13～14]. One example is also worked out to demonstrate the advantages of our results.

Abstract:Discrete Hopfield neural networks with delay are extension of discrete Hopfield neural networks. The stability of the networks is known to be bases of successful applications of the networks. The stability of discrete Hopfield neural networks with delay is mainly investigated in serial mode. Several new sufficient conditions for the-networks with delay converging towards a stable state are obtained. The obtained results here generalize the existing results on stability of both discrete Hopfield neural networks without delay and with delay in serial mode.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with the boundedness and global convergence of the solutions of a non-autonomous system with variable delays, arising from the description of the states of neurons in delayed Hopfield neural networks in a time-varying situation. By using the analysis method, inequality technique and the properties of M-matrix, several novel sufficient conditions ensuring the boundedness and global convergence of all solutions are established. Our results are new and complement previously known results. The theoretical analysis is verified by numerical simulations.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with the global convergence of the solutions of a nonautonomous system with variable delays, arising from the description of the states of neurons in delayed Cohen-Grossberg type in a time-varying situation. By exploring intrinsic features between nonautonomous system and its asymptotic equation, several novel sufficient conditions are established to ensure,that all solutions of the networks converge to a periodic function or a constant vector for delayed Cohen-Grossberg-type neural network (NN) models in time-varying situation. The results can be applied directly to group of NNs models including Hopfield NNs, bidirectional association memory NNs, and cellular NNs. Our results are not only presented in terms of system parameters and can be easily verified but also are less restrictive than previously known criteria. Numerical simulations have also been presented to demonstrate the theoretical analysis.

Abstract:The paper investigates the existence and global stability of periodic solution of non-autonomous neural networks with delay. Then the existence and uniqueness of periodic solutions of the neural networks are discussed in the paper. Moreover, criterion on stability of periodic solutions of the neural networks is obtained by using matrix function inequality, and algorithm for the criterion on the neural networks is provided. Result in the paper generalizes and improves the result in the existing references. In the end, an illustrate example is given to verify our results.

Abstract:In this paper, dynamical behaviors of Hopfield neural networks system with distributed delays were studied. By using contraction mapping principle and differential inequality technique, a sufficient condition was obtained to ensure the existence uniqueness and global exponential stability of the equilibrium point for the model. Here we point out that our methods, which are different from previous known results, base on the contraction mapping principle and inequality technique. Two remarks were also worked out to demonstrate the advantage of our results.
