Abstract:Using a morphological hit-miss transformation, an improved method for increasing the addressing accuracy of optical holographic associative memory was proposed. A scheme of an improved real-time holographic associative memory system is shown in the paper, which comprises a beam splitter, a photo triode, a electric amplifier, a summing circuit, a stop, an input and an output planes and a liquid crystal electro-optical switch. The associative output image using the improved system is also demonstrated.
