Abstract:Efficient computation of eigenvectors and eigenvalues of a matrix is an important problem in engineering and theory. For the eigen-pairs problem of real antisymmetric matrices, the presented article proposed a complex neural network model for direct computing modulus largest eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenvectors of real antisymmetric matrix without any time-consuming preprocessing and postprocessing. The proposed approach extended the initial neural model that only could be used to compute the module largest eigenvalue and the corresponding eigenvectors of real symmetric matrix to the case of real antisymmetric matrix and running in complex domain. Numerical result verify the efficient of the proposed model. In addition, the proposed neural network model also could be used to calculate the eigenvalue with largest imaginary part of general real matrix although we can't present the rigorous proof in this case. © 2013 by Binary Information Press.
