Correlation analysis on resource allocation of drug safety supervision and pharmaceutical economic development

Abstract:Since 2008, the evolution of drug regulatory system has occurred from vertical institutional to comprehensive coordination mechanisms, and the management of regulatory resource allocation has been classified as local government. The resource allocation has affected drug supervision to some extent. We performed the cluster analysis on drug regulatory resource configuration and the empirical analysis on the Panel Data of pharmaceutical economic development. The results suggested that the resource allocation schemes of the national drug safety supervision should be regulated from a system perspective, a system for evaluation and pilot of regulatory responsibility should be established, the rational distribution of pharmaceutical regulatory resources should be achieved, and the allocation of regulatory resources should be optimized in order to enhance the ability to promote drug safety supervision.
