Abstract:In this work we characterize the bounded and the compact weighted composition operators from the space H^∞ of bounded analytic functions on the open unit disk into the Zygmund space and the little Zygmund space. We also provide boundedness and compactness criteria of the weighted composition operators from the Bloch space into the little Zygmund space. In particular, we show that the bounded operators between these spaces are necessarily compact.

Abstract:We provide several characterizations of the bounded and the compact weighted composition operators from the Bloch space and the analytic Besov spaces (with ) into the Zygmund space . As a special case, we show that the bounded (resp., compact) composition operators from , , and to coincide. In addition, the boundedness and the compactness of the composition operator can be characterized in terms of the boundedness (resp., convergence to 0, under the boundedness assumption of the operator) of the Zygmund norm of the powers of the symbol.

Abstract:Recently, we proved that the image of a Toeplitz kernel of dimension $>1$ under composition by an inner function is nearly $S^*$-invariant if and only if the inner function is an automorphism. In this paper, we build on this work and describe the minimal Toeplitz kernel containing the image of a Toeplitz kernel under a composition operator with an inner symbol. Furthermore, this work is extended to the minimal Toeplitz kernel containing the image of a Toeplitz kernel under a weighted composition operator. In particular, the corresponding cases for minimal model spaces are also formulated, generalizing known work on the action of composition operators on model spaces. Finally, the equivalences between Toeplitz kernels are used to formulate the specific maximal vectors for several Toeplitz kernels with symbols expressed in terms of composition operators and inner functions.
