Design and Implementation of Psychological Counseling Software based on SSM

Abstract:With the accelerating pace of life and increasingly complex living environments, people are required to have high psychological resilience to cope with intense competition and pressure. In recent years, the mental health issues of teenagers have attracted increasing attention, with some experiencing anxiety, depression, and other emotional problems that severely affect their lives, academics, and may even lead to extreme behavior. It is not only teenagers who face these challenges; the mental health of many adults is also a cause for concern. In response to the practical needs of mental health work in society, this project combines software development techniques with psychological counseling. By using structured system analysis and design methods, it develops a psychological counseling software based on the SSM framework. The software is designed and developed using the JAVA programming language, with the Microsoft Access database and Gale-Shapley stable matching algorithm used to efficiently match patients with the most suitable counselors. The software consists of three core pages: “Home,” “Counseling,” and “My Profile.” It incorporates three psychological self-awareness features, such as psychological counseling, as well as two support features, including a “Small World” community, and common functionalities like comments and likes. The software offers the advantages of being fast, convenient, cost-effective, and providing high-quality services.
