Evaluation Design of the Distributed Electronics System for the Water Cherenkov Detector Arrays in the LHAASO

Abstract:A distributed electronics system is discussed,which is expected to have a high performance in the water Cherenkov detector arrays(WCDAs) in the Large High Altitude Air Observatory(LHAASO) project.A prototype system consisting two modules is developed to evaluate the principles of main techniques on the distributed architecture,including clock distribution within a big scale in dimension and online transmission delay calibration.The results are positive and the integrate system will be developed later.
