Abstract:In order to facilitate demonstrating and validating theoretical technology of aircraft modeling and controlling, a general research visualized flight simulation platform is designed on the basis of software engineering concepts. Firstly, the overall structure and main functional modules are designed based on object-oriented idea. In order to simulate many types of aircraft in various control laws on the platform, mathematical models for flight movement and flight controlling are established, and modeling interfaces are designed for each main module. Flight disturbing models for wind shear and turbulent flow are established to obtain higher fidelity of the simulation. Then, the flight simulation platform is realized based on. Net framework and Direct 3D. Finally, simulation verification is carried out by following rectangular track in the laws of proportional-integral-derivative (PID) flight controlling. The experimental results show that the platform has good maneuverability and fidelity, and the flight data from the real time output are accurate and entire, which fits in with the expectations.
