Abstract:180 Avian chicken at 1 day of age were allotted into 3 treatments with 6 replicates per treatment and 10 birds per replicate. The basic diet was added with 0.2% complex acidifier or 150 mg/kg flavomycin. The experiment lasted for 42 days. The results showed:① The addition of 150 mg/kg flavomycin increased the daily weight gain by up to 6.63% at 21 days age(P0.05);②the supplementation of 0.2% acidifier improved the daily weight gain by up to 7.55% and feed consumption rate was decreased by 3.96%. Acidifier addition could increase Ca and P availability(P0.05) at 21 to 42 days age,but flavomycin declined Ca and P availability at the 21 to 42 days age;③The addition of 0.2% acidifier increased the amount of E.coli and Lactobacillus up to 12.10% and 24.29% respectively in caecum(P0.05). These results suggested that complex acidifier in broiler diet improved performance and gut micro-ecology,which could replace flavomycin.
