Abstract:Objective To study the current situation of bacteria carriage in nasal cavity of medical staff and its molecular epidemiology so as to establish an early warning system for hospital infection outbreaks in Tianjin.Methods Sample collection,bacteria isolation and identification methods and PFGE analysis technology were used to investigate medical staff of key departments of medical institutions in hospitals of Tianjin.Results Among 915 nasal samples of medical staff 332 strains Gram-negative bacteria were collected and the top two were Klebsiella pneumoniae and gas production Enterobacter bacteria.PFGE analysis showed that the Gram-negative bacteria had no homology.And the total resistant rate of the Gram-negative bacteria was 39.46%(131/332).Conclusion The nasal Gram-negative bacteria carrying rate and its resistance rate of medical staff in key positions of Tianjin hospitals are relatively high.We should take effective measures to control them.
