Clinical Relations Between the Vascular Complication of Type 2 Diabetes and Mild Cognitive Impairment

Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical relations between the vascular complication of type 2 diabetes and mild cognitive impairment.Methods 119 patients with type 2 diabetes were divided into three groups according to the vascular complications.Group A was macrovascular complication.Group B was microvascular complication.Group C was complex vascular complication.The three groups were tested pressure,fasting plasma glucose(FPG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),Trail making test,Wisconsion card sorting test(WCST),Wechsler Memory Scale(WMS).Results The data of pressure,FPG,HbA1c,TC,and TG in patients were no difference(P0.05).But the test dates of Trail making test,WCST,short-term memory and immediate memory in the three groups were significant difference(P0.05).The data of the C group was worst.The B group was worse.About the long-term memory,the test dates of A group was best significantly compared with B group and C group(P0.05).There were no significant difference between B group and C group(P0.05).Conclusion The mild cognitive impairment of type 2 diabetes was relative with the vascular complication.But the microvascular complication was more important compared with the macrovascular complication in the role of mild cognitive impairment.
