Abstract:In this paper,we use a fixed point theorem due to Krasnosel'skii to show that a nonlinear neutral dynamic system with delay has a periodic solution.Further more,we show that the periodic solution is unique using the contraction mapping principle.

Abstract:In this paper, the existence of periodic solutions and nonnegative periodic solutions for a kind of second-order neutral differential equation on time scales is considered. The partial increment is a fixed constant if the time scale is the real number set and is a multiple of the periodic of the time scale if the time scale is not the real number set. By means of a fixed point theorem due to Krasnoselskii, some sufficient conditions are obtained.

The main tool employed here is the Krasnoselskii’s fixed point theorem dealing with a sum of two mappings, one is a contraction and the other is completely continuous. The results obtained here generalize the work of Han and Ren (Nonlinear Anal, 70:1393–1406, 2009).

Abstract:In this paper, based on the theory of calculus on time scales, by using Krasnoselskii’s fixed point theorem and contraction mapping principle, sufficient conditions are established for the existence of positive periodic solutions in shifts δ± for a neutral functional dynamic equation on time scales of the following form: x(t) = −a(t)x(t) + f(t, x(t)) + b(t)g(t, x(τ(t))), t ∈ T, where T ⊂ R be a periodic time scale in shifts δ± with period P ∈ [t0,∞)T and t0 ∈ T is nonnegative and fixed. Finally, some numerical examples are presented to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the results.

Abstract:We first propose a concept of almost periodic functions in the sense of Stepanov on time scales. Then, we consider a class of neutral functional dynamic equations with Stepanov-almost periodic terms on time scales in a Banach space. By means of the contraction mapping principle, we establish some criteria for the existence and uniqueness of almost periodic solutions for this class of dynamic equations on time scales. Finally, we give an example to illustrate the effectiveness of our results.

Abstract:This paper is devoted to investigating a class of stochastic neutral-type neural networks with delays. By using the fixed point theorem and the properties of neutral-type operator, we obtain the existence conditions for periodic solutions of stochastic neutral-type neural networks. Furthermore, we obtain the conditions for the exponential stability of periodic solutions using Gronwall-Bellman inequality and stochastic analysis technique. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the effectiveness and merits of the present results. Our results can be used to obtain the existence and exponential stability of periodic solution to the corresponding deterministic systems.

Abstract:In this article, we study the existence and uniqueness of periodic solutions, and stability of the zero solution to the nonlinear neutral system $$ \frac{d}{dt}x(t)=A(t)h\big(x(t-\tau_1(t))\big)+\frac{d}{dt}Q\big(t,x(t-\tau_2(t))\big) +G\big(t,x(t),x(t-\tau_2(t))\big). $$ We use integrating factors to transform the neutral differential equation into an equivalent integral equation. Then we construct appropriate mappings and employ Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem to show the existence of a periodic solution. We also use the contraction mapping principle to show the existence of a unique periodic solution and the asymptotic stability of the zero solution. Our results generalize the corresponding results in the existing literature. Abstract:This paper is concerned with the existence of solutions and periodic solutions for a class of semilinear neutral functional differential equations with state-dependent delay, in which the linear part is non-autonomous and generates a linear evolution operator. We first establish the existence and regularity of bounded solutions for the considered equation, and then we show by using Banach fixed point theorem that these solutions have periodicity property or asymptotic periodicity property respectively under some conditions . Finally, an example to illustrate the obtained results is given.
