A Summary of Studies on the Humanistic Tradition of Modern Chinese Sex Narrative

Abstract:As the humanistic tradition of modern Chinese sex narrative is a major factor in moulding the ideology and the emotion of modern Chinese people,a thorough study of it is of much value.In the 1980s,studies on modern Chinese sex narrative was highly reality-oriented;and in the 1990s,its study turned to be academic gradually,with topics focused on theories on literary history,feminist literary criticism,cultural studies,etc.;while after the year 2000,studies on modern Chinese sex narrative has become increasingly abundant,for great achievements have been secured in both grand studies on the literary history and thematic studies.Nevertheless,there have so far been few studies which can delve into the features of essential attributes in the modern sex narrative（namely,the modern humanistic tradition and the literary quality） and into the phase features（the epochal character and the national traits）.
