Study on the "extrusion Effect of Employment" of the Education Degree

Abstract:In recent years,the colleges of China have increasingly recruited students and supply has increasingly exceeded demand in labor market.The strategy that firms seek too many workers with higher degree certificate gives arise to the extrusion effect of labor market which makes workers with higher degree certificate extrude the ones with lower degree certificate.This paper analyzed the mechanism and change direction of the extrusion effect with a model of matching between seekers and vacancies.From the simulation result of model,we may prognosticate that the unemployment rates of two types of workers also increase as the ratio of workers with higher degree certificate increases.However, the extrusion effect would decrease under the given constant conditions.
