Abstract:Traditional data warehouse involves a widely accepted topology of ODS, data warehouse, data mart and BI tools. Real-time data warehouse extends the application of traditional data warehouse and can support tactical queries for enterprise. The article discusses several architecture of real-time data warehouse, compares them with the traditional data warehouse. Then it introduces a feasible architecture of real-time data warehouse after analyzeing the requirement, technical and performance.

Abstract:The data model theory of real-time database and data characteristics of the processing industry is studied. Then by employing the latest information technology, a new design method for data management of the processing industry's real-time database is presented for the processing enterprises' application of real-time database. In the data model, data from the processing enterprise is organized by tag mapping technology. The model has a fast query system with multi-layer indexing structure by using STL (standard template library). In addition, the data model support distributed computation in the processing enterprises by adopting COM/DCOM (distributed component object model) technology. The validity and feasibility of the presented design method were proved by the method's successful application in the real-time database software of APC-iSYS.

Abstract:Power grid in future will develop into an extra-large interconnected grid with larger transmission capacity and more complex running characteristics. The trend of grid dispatching control system must be global wide-area and dynamic integrated necessarily. In this situation, it makes higher demand for real-time data to support grid supervisory and analysis. However, the existing real-time database with a centralized architecture commonly had the limits of scalability and performance, and it could hardly support a large number of concurrent data access. This paper proposed an architecture design of wide-area distributed real-time database (WDRTDB). WDRTDB divided all the real-time data into parts, and stored them on several servers. In addition, WDRTDB introduced a novel kind of data dictionary to index all data to provide a unified data access service for whole grid. Through experiments, we proved that WDRTDB had a better performance in real-time data processing than existing real-time database system.

Abstract:Real-time data warehouse as an extension of traditional data warehouse, it is effectively shortening the delay of information and providing timely and accurate decision support to decision makers. The ETL processing is the core technology of data warehouse, especially in real-time data warehouse. This paper is analyzing the current mainstream technology for real-time ETL. We propose a way to capture changed data which is based on log analysis and log listening. This method provides an effective solution for the huge amount of data, which greatly improve system performance.

Abstract:Based on the large amount data accumulated in the information system,the real estate data analysis system based on data wa-rehouse and OLAP technology is studied and implemented.First,the independent data warehouse of the real estate is established and the multi-dimensional model is set up to make multi-analysis.And then the multi-analysis analyses such as slice,dice,rotate,roll-up,and drill-down are made in order to analyze the real estate data from multi-dimension.The real estate indices are computed.On this basis,the front-end development tool is used to develop the display platform for the data,which can be used for integration of visualization analysis.The experiments show that the real estate data analysis system can help the administrators and the decision makers of real estate area to make the efficient decision supports.

Abstract:At present, XML is one of the most widely-used technologies of data-describing and data-exchanging, and the needs for real-time data make real-time data warehouse a popular area in the research of data warehouse. What effects can we have if we apply XML technology to the research of real-time data warehouse? XML technology solves many technologic problems which are impossible to be addressed in traditional real-time data warehouse, and realize the integration of OLAP (On-line Analytical Processing) and OLTP (Online transaction processing) environment.
