Abstract:The elevated temperature oxidation behavior of Mo-Si-B alloys is reviewed in this article.As a candidate of high temperature structural material,Mo-Si-B alloys possess the outstanding oxidation resistance and mechanical properties.Recent studies are centralized in the three fields ofα-Mo-Mo_3Si-Mo_5SiB_2,Mo_5SiBx(T1)-Mo_3Si-Mo_5SiB_2 and Mo_5SiBx(T1)-MoSi_2-MoB.The principal aims of this study are to illustrate the development and analyse the influencing factors for oxidation resistance as well as put forward the further study directions of Mo-Si-B alloys.
