Applications of Room Temperature Ionic Liquids in the Preparation of Nanomaterials

Abstract:Nanomaterials have been studied in many subjects such as materials, chemistry, and physics in recent years. With booming publications on this topic, however, the preparation of nanomaterials in a simple, environmentally benign, morphology-controlled route remains a challenge for researchers, especially with the development of “green chemistry”. Recently, using room temperature ionic liquids as solvents to prepare nanomaterials are being realized and accepted by the researchers. In this paper, recent researches on the application of room temperature ionic liquids for the preparation of a variety of nanomaterials are summarized.
