Analysis on the situation of checking and tracking for pulmonary tuberculosis cases from internet-based reporting of non tubercular institutions of Qinghai province

Abstract:Objective To analyze the situation of checking and tracking of pulmonary tuberculosis(TB) patients from internet-based reporting of non tubercular institutions in Qinghai province,evaluate the medical systems used the network for discover suspected tuberculosis patient,and provide a basis for increasing the TB detection rate.Method Data of the reports from 2009 to 2010 in Qinghai province by non tubercular institutions were collected,statistical analysis the transfer treatment,and targeting status of TB patients reported by network system of non tubercular institutions.Results According to network system,there were 7 716 cases of pulmonary TB patients or suspected cases were reported by non tubercular institutions during 2009 to 2010,all of them should be transferred to the hospitals.But in fact,there were only 2 332 TB patients initiative to the hospitals after transfer treatment.The transfer treatment initiative targeting rate was 30.2%.4 396 visited to the hospitals after tracing by non-tubercular institutions,total targeting rate was 55.68%,it was significantly higher than that of transferring to the hospitals voluntarily.Conclusions Enhancing the policy propaganda of cure the TB for free would improve the targeting rate of transfer treatment for TB patients.Improve the management of TB hospital reporting and network reporting in time were better for checking and tracking work of TB tubercular institutions.
