The key technology of every layer is explained in detail. The system has been proved to be universal and flexible.

Abstract:The low-polygon three-dimensional (3D) models with a high degree of realism are especially expected for realtime interactive applications. However, to develop a visual convincing model of irregular objects is one of the most difficult problems in visual simulation. Several techniques, such as Texture Mapping, Instance, Level of Detail (LOD), etc., are usually used to solve these problems. These techniques can obviously increase the performance of the visual database in the realtime system. Substituting texture mapping for polygonal modeling to create an efficient and realistic 3D model in Creator software was discussed in detail, and the techniques of instance and LOD, taking an example of a rocket model, were also mentioned in the paper.

Abstract:Based on use of virtual reality simulation technology for visual simulation of train operation and train accident reconstruction simulation,we made a complete visual modeling.It mainly introduced realistic three-dimensional modeling which based on the Creator software and the help of texture.The complete modeling process was discussed from the data organization and DOF settings.With the help of Creator’s own rail road blocks,it also discussed how to build realistic model and the railway surrounding geographical model.It build a set of train operation simulation of the train accident,railroad lines and geographical visual model of the environment,and some practical Creator modeling skills are summarized.

Abstract:Scene simulation technique displays the simulation process and results using graphics and animation based on numerical simulation. Scene simulation is widely used in military fields in recent years. OpenGVS is a real-time scene management software for 3D application developers. This paper develops a simulation program of belligerent scene between missile and battleplan, and adopts OpenGVS to realize the animated driving, the simulation modeling software of Multigen Creator to create the required 3D models. The key techniques of the program are introduced in this paper, i.e. the selection of viewpoint, collision detection and the effects of explosion, etc.. the result of the simulation is more realistic.

Abstract:Creator/Vega is the leading modeling and simulation software of VR.This paper mainly investigates the view simulation and construction of 3D models,based on Creator/Vega,belonging to martial marine environment.It especially further investigates the construction,optimization and simulation management of geographical models.By classifying the geographic information picked-up from electronic chart,different ways for modeling and managing models of different classes based on their respective characters are brought forward.At the same time,the management of view simulation models,employing large area database management(LADBM) technology of Creator/Vega,is introduced.Comparing with other current modeling and simulation software,Creator/Vega can certainly expediently model all objects of view simulation,achieve perfect simulation results,and improve the whole level of view simulation.

Abstract:With the popularization of virtual reality technology and the deepening of application, modeling method as the core will also be applied to more complex system. Existing modeling method techniques is not an efficient and fast implementation of complex system, whose model, movement and the relationship between the models are isolated from each other. Aiming at these problems, this paper first uses the process modeling method to simplify complex system, and then uses relation model to build the standard structure for model, movement and relationship, finally, according to the complex process and the composite object, this method is implemented to validate the feasibility and effectiveness.

Abstract:The 3D visualization technique for the marine-oriented geographical information was investigated. . The professional platforms such as MultiGen Creator and Vega were employed for the reconstruction of 3D model and the generation of marine environment. This technique was characterized with a couple of sequel processes including extracting marine data, modeling realistic object, regionally managing scene databases by using the Large Area Database Management (LADBM) and simulating natural environment by exploiting ephemeris model together with particle system. Finally, the obtained 3D marine environment was embedded in the visual system of the submarine voyage-training simulator. The update of the sub-system was accordingly achieved in terms of the current position and the attitude of submarine, and therefore satisfied the real-time requirement of the training system, which had also been proved by the experimental results.

Abstract:This paper discuses the methods of simulation modling and software development based on Virtual Reality. For solving the problems caused by the characteristics of discrete and randomicity of port logistics and the intricate scene of system modeling and simulation, the methods of system geometry modeling and kinematics modeling and the means to deal with the parameters of simulation model and real time control are put forward. Based on the VR software-MultiGen and Vega ,by using C++ and OpenGL ,the 3D graphics simulation system is developed and applied in the case study of container terminal.

Abstract:Through the analysis and comparison of shortcomings and advantages of existing technologies on object modeling in 3D applications,we propose a new modeling method for virtual scene based on multi-view image sequence to model irregular objects efficiently in 3D application.In 3D scene,this method can get better visual effect by tracking the viewer’s real-time perspective position and projecting the photos from different perspectives dynamically.The philosophy of design,the steps of development and some other relevant topics are discussed in details,and the validity of the algorithm is analyzed.The results demonstrate that this method represents more superiority on simulating irregular objects by applying it to the modeling of virtual museum.

Abstract:The rendering of Complex scene is important in Virtual Reality System. There are two ways in realizing the virtual scene: 3D graphics and Image based model rendering. And an image based model rendering is a novel technique. Based on the theory of perspective projection and three-dimensional transformation, we have gotten a formula which builds the relationship between a reference image and a new image, and releases the demand on a camera, only if the view point is constant, the inner parameter can be restored from the reference images, and the method of estimating parameter is provided. The image in Random direction can be rendered by the formula.

Abstract:In this paper,we introduce the fundamental theory and system realization of the three-dimensional simulation system of geologic bodies.We then illustrate how to use the combination of VC++ 6.0,SQL Server2000 and OpenGL images set on the basis of existing molding methods to produce three-dimensional space model to imitate the geologic bodies with high sense of reality underground.Finally,we calculate the reserves of the geologic bodies.

Abstract:The first question to make a virtual reality system is to create a virtual scene. This virtual scene should be made up with factors which including three-dimensional (3d) model, 3d animation, video, sound, etc. Because people's vision is the most sensitive, the 3d model for the spread of information is the largest, and creating a realistic scenario model and a real-time dynamic display effect for virtual reality system is very important. Unity 3d is a development tool of which often used in the virtual reality system, but the scene model making function and 3d animation production ability are not good, 3DS MAX is powerful and very popular 3d modeling software. It is suitable to make 3d model for virtual reality system. This paper mainly discusses the problems of 3DS MAX in the use of virtual reality modeling.

Abstract:From the view of implementation methods of the visual simulation,the method of using MultiGen Creator to exploit weapon models and generating batch terrain with features is introduced in this paper.In addition,the approach of using Vega to design three-dimensional virtual demonstrate of campaign is also presented.In summary,the actualize technologies of virtual reality are described simply.The fight process between the intercontinental ballistic missile and aircraft carrier is realized in this visual simulation system.The results of development and application show that this system is easy and general-purpose,the effect is vivid,and besides,the efficiency of development and the reality of 3D image are improved as compared with the scene simulation software based on OpenGL directly.

Abstract:This paper models and drives the 3D scene simulation system for aerial maneuvering target by Multigen Creator & Vega. In the scene modeling, we optimize the model data base by the geometric structure and surface texture of the model. In scene driving, we first use the Vega pathing model to set the flying path of the target and define the pose and velocity of each path control point to simulate the flying actions such as acceleration, deceleration, side-turning over, zoom, dive, et al, then choose the static look at position to observe the plane. Finally, we add the infinite light and hinged cloud into the environment to get a vivid effect. The simulation result shows that the system has a high practical value and can express the motorial characteristic of aerial maneuvering target completely.

Abstract:Abstract Virtual reality is a kind of computer simulation system which can create virtual environment. People can interact with the three-dimensional environment generated by computer. In this paper, the real-time computer graphics technology, three-dimensional modeling technology and binocular stereo vision technology in virtual reality technology are studied, and the binocular stereo vision optical system is designed. This paper studies the visual communication modeling design of 3D scene under the framework of virtual reality graphics rendering. In this paper, we design and make a three-dimensional model, and develop a virtual indoor scene application. In this paper, the 3D model is used to build the scene, and several commonly used rendering technologies such as texture mapping, material, lighting calculation, transparent effect and shadow calculation in unity engine are used to render the scene. The experimental results show that this method can improve the design efficiency and the accuracy of design matching.

Abstract:In this paper,the virtual scene simulation is realized based on the software MultiGen Creator and Vega.The key techniques of the scene simulation system are introduced,and the models of virtual scene are established.On the basis of the research,the development is actualized in Vega,and the navigation in virtual scene is achieved.The simulation results show that the system is reliable and the method has a good character of real-time,which can be applied in many areas such as virtual battlefield simulation and weapons development.
